Poor Jazz | 12:45 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
I was at the game last night against Chicago. This season is rough so far.
So many injuries. No Booz, no Williams, no Korver, no Harpring, and Knight and AK keep battling minor injuries. Even the Jazz bear is injured. He was limited to carrying signs at the game because of a broken ankle. He wore a boot on his costume leg. I wondered at first if it was sympathy pains.
And our shot clocks went out at the game, which I'm certain had an effect on how we played against Chicago last night. It was very strange.
We have so much talent, but it's like the stars are against us right now.

I, like many Jazz fans, hope that these injuries all heal up quick and don't linger. That is the concern I have. LINGERING injuries. I want them all back soon, but not so soon that it will impact the entire season. GO JAZZ!

What will we do without Collins. Our scoring average is going to fall. How bout we waive Collins?
? | 2:47 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
Oh well. Kosta Dufus is better anyway.
J-dizzle | 3:25 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
The jazz are still going to end up in the top four or five in the West this year, so I wouldn't worry about it to much.
Jazzsmack | 4:01 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
Collins out? Will anyone really notice anyways?
Richie | 5:31 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
Collins is no great loss but is Fess going to be permanently attached to the bench. If he isn't going to be used then dump him.
Whom is the Idiot | 6:17 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
That doesn't have a score board? O'Donnel better not bring back Willaims too soon and put the whole franchise in jeopardy! Who in the, is running the outfit?
Chuck | 6:31 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
Can't wait for Deron to get back out there.

here we go again, according to D-Will the pain is still there, therefore he is not 100%, I think its better to sit him out until he is 100% healthy, he will only be a liability their on the court bcoz i'm pretty sure D-Will will not exert effort on playing defense and that will be disastrous for the Jazz, as far as I remember when D-Will try to comeback last month i think, he is playing more than 25 minutes and that's a lot, what's the result the Jazz ended up losing a couple of games plus D-Will was back in the injured list,..my point is D-Will should not rush things and coming back to soon, it will only make the situation much more worse, the season is not even half way.. anyway goodluck D-will, prove to me that I'm wrong, and I hope too that I'm wrong.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.... | 6:54 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008

Knock Collins all you want. Who guarded Shaq (and frustrated the crap out of him)????

Kosta, Memo and Boozer were tossed around whenever they tried going against the Big Cactus.

Besides, Jaron was never meant as a scorer.

But next to an impossible trade (kinda like Knight for Jason-the-"Brick"-Hart), we're not gonna be able to improve on the BEST BENCH IN ALL THE NBA.

Seriously though - FIX THE STUPID CLOCKS!!!

Young players don't know what pain is! When you had iron men like Malone and Stockton who missed a hand full of games in twenty years it is pathetic to see Boozer, Williams, Collins all whinning about their sprains. No pain No gain!
No Guts. No Glory. | 9:11 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
I agree!

Let's play ball.

The longer Collins is out the better.
thats why jazz = no championship | 10:37 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
Montana, that is exactly the attitude that results in zero championships. Look at championship teams where stars come back healthy for the playoffs. Those teams understand the regular season is mostly pointless. Malone and Stockton could never comprehend that, and so they usually limped into the playoffs injured. They would have definitely won it all if they had just sat out parts of the regular season instead of trying to show how tough they were.

Collins isn't a star, but he is definitely a great player on the team. The minutes he plays are always well done. He draws fouls, gets free throws, makes the extra pass, etc. He has plenty of experience with this team and is missed.

here we go again... | 11:30 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
This no guts not glory, ironmen of yesteryear babble is getting old. These guys play through minor injuries ALL THE TIME... we just usually don't hear about those. Not only can it be a detriment to the team to have a player on the court who is ineffective because of an injury, but really, how much sense does it take for one to realize that all injuries are different, and all these 'sprains' are very vulnerable to re-injury, or further injury. I want those guys back as much as anyone, but at this point in the season, it isn't worth it!! Korver is a good example... he sprained the wrist at the beginning of the season, didn't miss a game...warmed, wrapped, iced that wrist, struggled at times, but still played, and JUST when it seemed the wrist was coming around, what happens? RE-INJURED. Do you guys think that's a coincidence? It's not. No one likes this injury bug, but what would you rather, a few losses now, or injuries that nag everyone ALL SEASON LONG???
Roll with it | 11:52 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
Williams needs to get out there. The doctor told williams that his ankle probably won't be 100% for the entire season, just how severe sprains go. Williams said he feels he is close to 90% with discomfort, but it's strong. Time to tear up the NBA. Williams unleashes the furry Wednesday night.
Calm down... | 12:15 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
Every one who is freakin out over a few losses needs to chill. The Jazz will get into the playoffs just fine. It won't really matter where we are ranked come playoff time either. As long as we get in, which we will, we'll do well. Let the big boys rest until they are feeling great, and then if we are still losing we can start to worry.
salty trambone | 11:57 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
We are kidding ourselves if we think we can win with this core anyways(Boozer,Williams,Okur). At Least with them injured we can live the dream of what could have been.
