How far the mightly BYU women's team has fallen. They didn't even have a finisher in the national championship race when just a few years ago they owned this race. Looks like the coaching carousel needs to hit women's cross-country.

Cross country rules! Luke Puskedra is a stud. Most people don't know that BYU has a better cross country team than a football team. I doubt 2% of people in Utah even know that. Galen Rupp is america's future when it comes to distance running.

Nice job BYU Team. I'm always a fan. Also, great job to all the other Utah runners. The state of Utah has always been a factory of great runners. To take 9th in XC is a lot tougher than to take that in football. There is a lot more competition. Nice job Cougs.

The womens team has had a couple of down seasons, but even then they are above par. Don't worry they will be able to pick it back up.

Congrats to Ryan Merriman who came from Bingham High. He is making is former teammates and coaches very proud with how well he is running right now. He has worked very hard to get where he is today and I hope his great performances continue for a long time to come.

Way to go, Cougs, and all of the other runners representing Utah!

Prior to Ed Eyestone coaching, the cougs were good, but not great as a team (though they have always had Great individual runners). Now, thanks to Ed we have a top 10 team that will undoubtably continue to do great things.

Look for some great races from Rich Nelson in the future.
