Finally | 9:59 a.m. Nov. 25, 2008
So that's why Russell was so bad in that game. I wonder why we didn't sub him. He was clearly not himself. I thought he was terrible but finally this article helps me know.

I'm so glad we'll have Jamison Olave back. He's a big reason why we love RSL. I kinda wish Rimando wasn't protected. Not that I don't like him I just don't like sitting Seitz. Oh well

This is huge for RSL...having him and Morales on long term contracts shows a commitment to this team from the RSLFO.

I just read | 3:53 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
on the 4 letter networks site a projection of who Seattle will take and they have Seattle taking Dema cuz he pairs well with what they already have. Dema I'm gonna miss you buddy but I'm glad it's you not Deuchar or Mathis. We should have a pretty fantastic team next year. Especially with Olave back. It really is like a great Christmas present

Dr. Goals | 4:53 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
I sure hope the projection of the previous comment is true. I think we should have protected Deuchar instead of Rimando. Seattle's got Casey Keller - I really don't think they'd pick up Nick for a backup. With that one exception though, I'd have to say I agree with the decisions on who to protect and it's great knowing we've locked Jamison up. I'm excited for next season already, but I guess Aggie basketball will have to hold me over 'til then.

Some interesting stats | 5:05 p.m. Nov. 25, 2008
Here's the averages before Mathis and then the games that Mathis started. They are rounded to the 1/1000th
Before Mathis (19 games):
1.158 goals per game scored by RSL
1.053 goals per game allowed by RSL
0.150 goal differential per game for RSL
7-6-6 overall record

Games Mathis started (9 games):
1.363 goals per game scored by RSL
1.090 goals per game allowed by RSL
0.273 goal differential per game for RSL
3-1-4 overall record

Does that help anyone understand why some of us can't understand why people hate Mathis so much? Even though he didn't score the goals himself we were a much better team in the games he started vs the games wasn't a part of our team. I seriously don't understand why people hate him more than anyone else on the team. I guess it's true whoever it was that posted they either don't pay attention, don't play soccer, don't understand soccer, or some combination of the 3.

out off the unprotected guys i think we could lose Williams, Strugis, dr Goal.

if we had not protected Rimondo they would have taken him as trade bait just like it happened with kries.

JOY IS GONE | 8:49 a.m. Nov. 26, 2008
I think it is great that we saved Nick Rimando. KC is going to lose there keeper because LA needs a keeper so Seattle will take Hartman and trade him to LA. Dema or Joy is gone I think

Joy is going back to Germany to be near his kid. I hope seattle picks him because it will be a wasted pick.
