Utah Jazz: Bulls win on buzzer—beater

I think the Injuries are catching up to the Jazz. The younger players do not have the talent or experience and the Older players cannot carry the load.

As coach Sloan mentioned, regardless of who is hurt those that are left must step up and play and they did not do that. Now the 9-6 Jazz are behind Denver and soon they will have to play the tough teams. That is when reality will set in.

IT WAS SO ANNOYING!!!!! What a frustrating way to lose.

STINKS! But, before you all get prepared to jump off the ledge, stand a step back and a deep breath....

Okay, now think about this for a second, your team is missing it's two best players, it's best shooter, and the back up power forward is out for the last minute of the game. The team is in shambles right now.... and you're still winning 60% of your games. I know, I know, the Jazz are only on pace to win 50 regular season games, and that doesn't exactly meet our expectations of 58-62, but you haven't seen a moment of a healthy Deron Williams this year! Without the backbone of this team, the Jazz are still winning games. I for one am proud of their efforts.

For one moment I want you to imagine a healthy Booz, DWIL, and Korver out there with those guys who were on the court with the Bulls... What do you think, Jazz by 26? It's one game, and yes it stings, but be patient. Deron will be back soon, and the Jazz will be awesome.

it's sad that the jazz came up short and was beaten by a buzzer-beater shot, that hurts!.. buzzer-beater winning shots are normal in an NBA season including playoffs, the truth is it really hurts when your team is the one losses by that buzzer-beater shot, in short the "lucky" factor comes into play in games like this, the Bulls are just lucky.. give the jazz credit they almost pull it off even without their key players..go Jazz!

Have to agree... while the Jazz are a deep team, and they have fought to have the record they do, it is catching up with them. As miserable as a buzzer-beater loss like that is, we can probably all agree that the game should not have been close enough to worry about losing at the buzzer.

I don't know... each time I start thinking 'as soon as we get everybody healthy...' someone else gets hurt (or re-injured). I know the Jazz haven't been playing the 'tough teams', but I still believe they have done an admirable job (for the most part) of holding things together, given the situation. Hard to be optimistic at the moment, but it's a long season, plenty of games left to win, and yes.... once we get everybody healthy.... LOL

did you see that dunkfest in the thrid quarter? The jazz were amazing tonight. you knew it was going to come down to the last possession. i am pretty mad that it ended the way it did though.

That was sad.

Jazz played pretty good, but Chicago is on a long
road trip. This was a golden opportunity for a win,
but down the stretch D Rose the rookie showed
why he was the number one pick. What an outstanding
young player.

The Jazz have to get stops when the game is on the line. Chicago scored on their last 5 or 6 possessions. On the same note the Bulls are not a solid team. They live and die by the jumper. They faced a depleted Jazz team and still barely pulled off a win. Larry Hughes? Are you kidding me? WHAT? That guy is nothing. And Drew Gooden? Why do scrub players always have a hay day on the Jazz? Anyway, the loss was hard to swallow but give the Jazz some credit, they have played remarkably well with a banged up roster.

The phantom foul on Millsap at the end along with Rose dragging his foot 3 feet across the paint with no travel call certainly didnt help.

I didn't get to see the game (perhaps that's a great thing) but I certainly saw the result. I'm proud of the Jazz for playing so hard even with so many players out. While I cannot comment on anything specific, it seems to me that the effort was there.

Hopefully Deron and Carlos will come back healthy soon and so will a few of the other key players.

For those who say..."the Jazz have had an easy schedule and they are screwed when they play the great teams..." I say not so fast! With the team hurting the schedule has been favorable. If the key players return before we play the tough teams we'll probably beat them most of the time. Yes, we'll lose some games; but we'll win more of them. That should give us a pretty good record. The only way the Jazz end up with a losing record is if the injuries continue to pile up. Here is hoping that does not happen!

Millsap, you're really blaming the loss on Millsap being fouled out? You guys needed stops, and that didn't happen. We just happened to be on the winning end tonight. This never happens to us, we're usually always losing by a game winning shot.
