"The movie tries to be a feel-good holiday movie, but it's too vulgar to take the whole family to and too silly to charm sophisticates.
Roger Ebert wrote:
"We got five Oscar-winning actors, and they don't need to act much."
Kirk Honeycutt of the Hollywood Reporter wrote:
"A top-drawer cast in a bottom-drawer screenplay."
In fact, the ONLY positive review I could find was from the New York Times, which is interesting on many levels.
It's too bad; I do cheer for this cast to have something good for us, but it doesn't look like this film is it.
