The "Hall Factor + 6" | 8:54 a.m. Nov. 23, 2008
While this game may forever go down as the "Hall Factor + 6" we should note that it was the Utes great defensive play that caused the "factor" to come into play. Hall did not lose the game for the Why - Utah's defense won the game for Utah!

Hat's off to the awesome Utah D. They played great and once again Brian Johnson demonstrated true leadership and poise. While the D really stepped up in the 2nd half I am still concerned about coverage downfield . . anyone else share my concern? While Sean Smith did a decent job when matched with #9 (no TD's) B. McCain was burned every time he had Collie (he was THE guy who was supposedly on Collie last year AND .. Harline the year before!!).
I am just not sold on him back there (got burned a lot vs. TCU as well). If we get matched up vs. a BCS team w /stud wideouts we could be exploited again. Hopefully Gary Anderson will make some game plan tweaks to cover this obvious weak spot.
