BYU, Utah football: Happy to be alive after rivalry game

Give me a break. You surprised them and they came up with the rediculous plan in a few seconds with you there. Hard to believe!

Hey Max I bet your happy to be alive after your horrible showing tonight at Utah. 5 TURNOVERS ON YOUR OWN. Wait the game is'nt over yet so maybe you can come up with some more and give Utah 4 more touchdowns off of your turnovers! I have watched 35 or more Utah-BYUgames and never I mean never seen a poorer performance than you gave tonight. They are not that good, but you made them look like they actually belong in the top ten. We had a chance to take contol of the game at one point but thanks to you we end up getting battered because of your poor choices. YEP! THIS ONE IS ON YOU! I hope you sit in the back of the bus and cry like a baby all the way to Prov you idiot! You will never be the same in my eyes after that performance. I have time off to go watch your bowl game in Dec. I think I will stay home and help my wife clean the house you are horrible.

"Mike Buys": That was a disgusting, uncalled-for comment. Max Hall is well aware of his poor performance. I also know he's one of the fiercest competitors I've ever seen, and will come back with resolve and with intense mental preparation for the bowl game and for all of 2009. All you get to do is be a pathetic excuse for a BYU fan. A fan is someone who admits defeat without turning into a louse. Your memory is also wretchedly poor: Max Hall had 10 incredible games this year. I'd say 83 percent is a great average. That's why it's a quest for perfection. We may have come up short, but we're getting closer.

How did the deseret news let this "Mike Buys" comment pass their pretty strict filter?

I am a huge Utah Fan. I am glad my team won. However, I think it is in very poor taste to make rude comments about BYU. They are an excellent team and Max Hall is a good quater back. He has played very well this entire season. He made a few mistakes that unfortunatley (for Byu) cost them the game. It has happened to Utah too. So Please no rude comments please. The rivalry is fun and all but at the end of the day it is still just a game. I say good luck to both BYU and UTah in their upcoming Bowl Game and well done on an excellent season for both teams.
