Cronyism is alive and well in Washington!

It's "cronyism" if you hire extended family members, friends of a
friend, a big campaign contributor, etc. It's not cronyism if he hires
someone because of their experience and expertise and background. It's
unfair to attack someone just because they happen to have worked in government
or politics. Sounds like the guy is fairly well qualified to me unless your
only condition is that someone be totally from outside of Washington DC area in
order to be able to be effective.
