its better for Williams not to play for his sake and also for the sake of the team, afterall the season was not even half way, it's not yet time to panic and rush things too soon, this also goes to Harpring and Collins..as for Memo I think its better to sit him out again, just to be sure..as for B. Knight,if it serious then sit him out too..as for Millsap and Kirilenko, I think they will be fine..Go JAzz!

WHERE ARE THE TOUGH GUYS? | 6:11 a.m. Nov. 19, 2008
what happened to the days of Stockton and Malone. where are the tough guys who simply played through the pain? call the whambulance. common guys...get out there and play like you want a championship! i am having a hard time believing that Stock or Malone would even want anyone to know the had a hurt elbow or finger...give me a break.

Okur is back? These guys who travel internationally don't know you have to get up and move around? Okur is supposed to be in shape. He is a whoosh. Harpring is finished with all of his surgeries. Where is Fez? With the Flash again? Brevin Knight injuried? We need more Millsaps. He is the only warrior on the team. The Suns lose to the Jazz? Right! This league is a joke. Sixty games per season is enough. Then all teams are in the playoffs with 7 game series. The season would then still be over by June. I predict a Laker Celtic final series again. The Jazz will be lucky to get out of the first series in the west.

Nevertheless......GO JAZZ!

Williams needs to sit until he is full strength. Playing on one leg is not going to bring playoff wins to the team. As for Memo, airplanes are the worst thing on backs. Worse than riding in a car. Once he gets adjusted and stretched out, he will be fine. Plus stress can cause a lot of back pain. When your back is bad you can't do a lot on the court. The rest of the whimps on the team need to get on the court. That is everyone but Harpring. He can stay out for the entire year.

For Collins to ride his golf cart off into the sunset. He's still not good enough to justify holding Fess and Koufos back. Lets play them.

Wax nostalgic all you want. Stockton and Malone don't work here any more. Learn to support the team thats on the floor now, or find another team that suits you...........Gag and bag the complainers!

You sure throw the words around when anyone talks about Miles but seem to have no problem thrashing Harpring on almost every post.
The only reason you don't like Harpring is because he takes away time from CJ.
So who would you replace Harpring with knowing the intelligence of your posts it would probably be Jason Hart.

Just chillout all of you fairweather fans. relax.

So you really think Harpring is the answer? What has Harpring done lately? He got lit up in the playoffs last year when he was healthy. All he does is foul and give up free throws. He had another off season surgery and is basically playing with one leg. Good....Put him on the floor at the expense of developing CJ's talent that can actually help us come playoff time. Harpring used to be my favorite player but his time has past him by due to injuries. Who is Jason Hart?

CJ will be fine. He's still needs to find ways to score around the basket to help him open up his shooting game. Harpring still has something to bring to the court. He is still able to post up and get some easy buckets.

Likewise, CJ needs to learn to player better d-fence!

Harpring is kind of ehhh for me as well. I think that if CJ brings his game again tonight, as well as some Defence, I would much rather have him on the floor. Harpring is good to come in and muscle a little bit, but sometimes it seems to hurt us more then help us. So I have to agree, as of right now to the more CJ/Korver opposed to more Harpring.

I am the original RE:Miles.

My point is this. There is no doubt CJ is our future. He has the all around game and the athletic ability to be good an possibly great. No doubt he deserves the time right now. I was all for the Jazz resigning him.
But every time I jump on this board you hear Korver stinks boot him, Harpring stinks boot him, Price stinks, Collins stinks, everyone stinks.
If everyone stinks so bad then are we proclaimed to have the deepest bench? Even Collins serves a purpose.(Never thought I would say that) Look what he did against the big cactus. Harpring (when healthy) will bang people around hard. Everyone else just touch fouls or reaches. The whole bench has and will serve a purpose. No sure how people think we are going to improve our bench by booting a few. What do we expect to get in exchange?

I'm not really sure how I would work the minutes for Harpring but I definately think he is worth keeping around. I think that as banged up as he is it is probably a good idea to limit his minutes and give more time to CJ. That being said if I had to make a choice, in a critical situation, on who to send into the game I would take Harpring every time.

You all assume Harpring will be healthy. I disagree with you on that one. Harpring has had to many surgeries to be healthy. So Magnus, you take Harpring on your fantasy team and I will take Cj on mine!!!

RE: Miles (the original) Glad to see that you finally came up with a name. Nothing like being little brother. And Harpring does stink.

As for me I don't want anyone traded. I just don't want Harpring eating up CJ's minutes and then losing again in the playoffs.

for all you whiners... | 11:59 p.m. Nov. 19, 2008
Enough with the whining about Harpring, Miles, Korver, etc. Come on now! They're ROLE players, and pretty good at what they do. They're not meant to be stars, and the Jazz clearly have one of the deepest benches in the league. Stop whining already! What would you rather have, Minnesota's bench, or better yet the Clippers. I'm sure you guys would love to have some scrub like Kevin Ollie or Shannon Brown instead of our guys. Get serious...
