That was a terrific effort put out there by AK. What an awesome couple of swats on the big old dude that looks like he is about finished in the NBA.
Milsaps was awesome. Hope his arm is ok. Can you imagine stopping a sledge hammer. That is what he did.
That was one of the funnest games I've been to in a long time.
CJ is a stud.
Keep it up Jazz.

Your welcome AK. If it weren't for CJ's great play, you wouldn't have been as successful as you were last night!!
AK ... | 8:26 a.m. Nov. 18, 2008
... is the most unappreciated player on the Jazz. He is awesome out there and does all the dirty work no one else is willing to do. He works hard and make the hustle plays that swing the momentum in our favor. He is playing a lot more unselfish and its boosting the team with every min. he is on the court. Great move by Sloan to bring him off the bench this year.

Great Job AK!

Grow up. AK is the MVP of this team, he is the fire that ignites this team to every victory. He has not always been this way, but he has really matured into a great player.

Miles was doing very well and has really learned when to shoot and when to drive. I appreciated them all and Miles posts are very immature and uninsightful...

seriously Miles we get your point. But Cj can score big deal he cant rebound block shots, steal. assist, and does not have the court awareness that AK has you cant say Cj was the reason Ak did good. Ak does that every night! Cj was big with getting us going but he is not even close to the value that Ak is to the team. and you will see that when deron is back! I love the jazz but your hype about Miles is getting old. the kid can score but I wanna see what else he can do. which I hope he does develope othe aspects of his game!

Someday we may look back and say the best things to happen to the Jazz may have been all the early injuries.

1. Harpring: his injury forced Sloan to experiment w/ bringing AK off the bench. If the Jazz come close to 60 wins and AK is a candidate for the 6th man award, it might be enough to finally earn Jerry a long-overdue COY.

2. Memo/Collins: we learned Kosta can give Utah quality minutes. Maybe seeing Koufos get PT will inspire Fesenko to work harder. Fes could have a much bigger impact for Utah in terms of clogging the middle, but KoKo has shown some unexpected shot-blocking skills.

3. Deron: the last couple of years we would have been lucky to win 1-2 games w/o Deron. Now we have a much more experienced Price and a terrific backup in Knight.

Last season the Korver-Giricek trade may have been the most overlooked by NBA people. And the most important outside of the Lakers getting league support in stealing Gasol from Memphis. This season one of the most important deals just might turn out to be the Jazz getting Knight for Hart. Kudos to KOC on that one.

I don't recall saying that AK was a bad player. If it weren't for CJ starting then AK would not be getting the opportunities that he gets with the bench players. AK is the go-to man because he is not starting. IF CJ hadn't stepped up his game, AK would be the five option as a starter. My hype about Miles won't stop because he is proving himself more and more. If he was as bad as you make him, why is he even playing. Oh I forgot, you are a Almond fan...Now it makes sense.

actually I am a UTAH JAZZ FAN and I said I hope miles gets better at other aspects because he can score. if he can get better all around he could be very good. and I really hope he does get better other than just a scorer.

For your information, no one enjoys your comments and we all wish you'd leave the message board alone, or at least not be so one-dimensional. I have been accused of being the biggest CJ homer alive. I love the kids potential. He's going to be a great player... but there are other players on the team who played great last night, such as Andrei.
Please grow up a bit, and quit beating the horse... it's dead... we get your point!

So what you are saying is that you want to be the only one who can voice their opinion? I see. If you read all my posts for the past month, I talk about everyone and am AK's biggest fan on here. While everyone wanted to trade AK, I was imforming people, like you, that he is the best player on the team so far this season. Without AK, our defense would even be horrible. So take your horse and put it back in the corral where it belongs cause I will keep making my comments about who or whatever I feel like. And stop trying to write posts. At least I don't hide behind fake names when I post.

Miles you sound like a child. Everyone just needs to relax, we are all on the same team here. I for one can admit I was not very happy that we resigned Miles for all that money. He started of this season really rocky,(30% shooting at best?)and that just enforced my opinion on him. But I have been pleasantly suprised the last few games and especially last nights. I really hope he can start being more consistant.
Miles | 1:15 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
I am a child. At least when I last looked, 17 is not an adult in Utah.
BoOoO | 1:39 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
I would have guessed 13. Looks like I lose.
Re Miles: | 3:06 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
No, I don't want to be the only one to voice his opinion. I enjoy everything from the expert opinion to the ridiculous. I enjoyed your opinion... the first thirteen times I read it. The last 45 times have been a bit much though. You're a decent writer, and your opinion is unique, which is awesome.
What's funny is this, I love CJ. I predicted during the playoffs last year that he'd be an all star in 4 years, and I stand by that, but dude, you're getting old. Instead of relating everything that happens to the jazz to CJ, maybe you should consider branching out and focusing on more than your boy. Eg, "B Knight ran the team exceptionally well last night" or "Dang! Koufos' block on Amare was clean and amazing", or even, "Ronnie B is crazy athletic".... Not just, CJ for president, bench everyone on the team and let CJ shoot, pass to himself, and coach the team! You get it yet man? That's the way you come off to the rest of us. Let me know if you need anymore advice, I'm here for you.

What you fail to realize is that about 60% of the posts under "Miles" are not mine. I am sure that about half those posts are "You" trying to be "Me". Like today, you have probably posted 10 times under different names. Take a guy like Magnus. He uses the same name every time. Then there are guys like you who hide behind the computer insulting everyone else because you lack the intelligence to say anything worth meaning. So what if I like CJ. Evidently there are a bunch of others on here who post under "Miles" too. So I must not be the only one who gets it. Problem is I am not as whimpy as Jimmy Sneakers when you are on the attack. So keep the smack coming cause it will be right back at ya.
Re: Miles | 5:37 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
Don't get so upset. Hold it together. I put Re:Miles, so that you know that I am responding to you. I didn't know that it was proper etiquette to use the same name every time I posted. I guess I'm not as savvy as some when it comes to the art of posting on the Dnews website. I have never hid behind your name before. Why would I do that?
As for CJ, you're right, I really like him. A lot. Probably more than anyone besides his Mom, the rest of his family and you. He's got crazy talent. If he can keep his confidence, I have no doubt that he'll be an all star--in four years.

Miles, you're a smart kid. You clearly have better writing skills than the majority of those on these boards--Please try to be less one-dimensional though. It seems like you might have some really interesting things to say if you can get past the CJ man-crush. I for one would like to hear your opinion regularly. I'm serious about that...
What name would you like me to use for now on?
hahaha! | 7:22 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
Keep going, it's a lot of fun!
ak is funny too | 10:20 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
i like his quote, what am i suppossed to do, i drive to the basket. he's one of my favorites, he's everywhere, he's got a good role now-one that is fitting to his leadership, he's fun to watch, and the jazz are so much better when he's playing his best. the jazz aren't going anywhere with out him playing like he has been, and did last night.
my only criticism is he could've said if someone jumps. he;s going to take the rock to the hole, haha.
oh wow. | 2:53 p.m. Nov. 19, 2008
you guys really don't have anything else to do, do you? Do you guys have a life outside of your computer? I bet you guys are the type of people who play those real life games instead of having a life of your own.
