Congratulation Coach Sudbury. You have had a great careeer in molding many young men in sports and in the classroom. The young men and students of South Summit, Tooele, Bingham and Cyprus will be forever grateful. Good luck in all of your future endeavors and hopefully, the coaching ranks will again be lucky enough to have you as a member. Good luck Cyprus High School. Hire a coach with the same moral values and dedication as Coach Sudbury.

Hopefully the administration at Cyprus do the right thing. Stay in-house, and hire from within-- Stuart Brooks. Thanks Sonny, you're the best!

I agree with you 100%! First off, all the best to Son he is one of a kind!!!! Second, worked with Coach Brooks in the past and he is a good solid football man who knows the game and has paid his dues. CHS Admin. couldn't make a better choice than Coach Brooks! Go Pirates!!!!

Son, Congratulations on great career. You've had a positive impact on the lives of the many students you've coached and taught over the years. I'm sure they're extremely grateful for that positive influence. You'll never know how much you've influenced my life and how many things I've learned from you over the years. Much of the success that I have had is directly related to people like you who I have played for and coached with. What a great legacy you've left behind. I wish the best for you and your family as you move on in the next stage of life. Thanks again for a wonderful career. You'll be hard to replace. Take Care

Son, thanks for the impact you have had on me and my family. It was growing up around coaches and people like you that influenced my decision to become an educator and coach myself. I learned many things from you over the years, especially the way to treat and mold young people into great athletes, but more importantly, great MEN.

Thanks again for you influence and best of luck to you and your family.

It is nice to read positive posts about a great guy. Especially after the recent posts bashing coaches left and right on this board in other articles. Sonny is a class act and will be sorely missed in Utah High School football.

Sonner,
Congratulations on a tremendous career!! Your influence and guidance to your players is far reaching. I personally cannot repay you for all the things you have done for me, and my family. You were a mentor, example, and most of all a friend. You, Sherry, and your kids have all done more for us than we can ever repay you for and we appreciate it mre than you will ever know !! I hope you can make it up to the stadium for the finals, you had a great deal to do with the success that is going on at Bingham right now. Anyone with any sense knows that ! Enjoy your "retirement" you deserve it !

ACC I bet you were a player. You may have been one of those players who could not get a 2 point grade average.
