He'll play | 8:13 a.m. Nov. 18, 2008
I'm sure he'll play. They aren't fooling anyone here. But if he doesn't, George is just as good anyway. It's more the system than the player with TEs down there.

They're not trying to fool anyone. They said he's planning on playing. btw, George is a great player but he's not Pitta, don't fool yourself.

U Not Fooled? | 9:23 a.m. Nov. 18, 2008
Oh, was BYU trying to fool anyone into thinking something other than what is reported? Pitta sustained an injury and the report is that he'll receive rehab, practice later in the week, and might play with a brace. Is that trying to fool somebody? Mentioning Andrew George is pure tom-foolery!! This article was an update and consideration of potential scenarios. If anybody is fooled UP THERE, it's on their on volition.

Injuries are part of the game every team has them. I don't think that even if we are all at full speed will it be enough for a real talented Ute team. I love the cougars, but I am being realistic. I hoe that I am wrong and every cougar fan can chew on me cone Monday morning. Well not everyone I don't want to be killed. Here is to hoping I am dead wrong.

What'll Max do?! | 11:56 a.m. Nov. 18, 2008
Gees, with Pitta out, that leaves ONLY Austin Collie for Hall to throw to. Anyone who's watched a single BYU game this season knows that Max only throws to his two BFF's, even if they're in double or tripple coverage.

Utes, if Pitta's out, put 5 guys on Collie. Max will be beside himself.

Collies that good | 12:27 p.m. Nov. 18, 2008
Even if there were 5 Utes on Collie, he'd still catch the ball! He could run circles around every guy Utah has! Pitta only adds too it. I'm not concerned either way. BYU is going to win and win soundly! Utah is overrated! BYU is right about where they should be at this point in the season. With a win over Utah though, they'll finish top 10 just in time for next year!

Gees, with Pitta out, that leaves ONLY George, Unga, Fui, Reed, and Collie to throw to. And those are just the primary receivers. Utes will NOT stop the Max Hall machine on Saturday.

Unga is hurt.
Collie drops balls.
The D secondary is sorry.
The front line is slow.
Bronco is hoarse.
BLUE is sad.
RED is IN.

RED WILL WIN!!!!!

Yes, you're right--delusional. And the only thing more delusional than those zoobies are the national stats that rank him as the top receiver in the entire nation.

LOL. After last year's 4th and 18 it's comical that ANY Ute fan could fathom a derogatory comment about Hall or Collie.

They ate you for lunch last year, so go ahead and tell us they're not good.

And you say Zoobies should keep our mouths shut. Back at ya baby.

It's going to be a close game, but I predict that the Cougar defense will rise to the occasion. Both Pitta and Collie each have 100 yards in receptions with Hall throwing for 350 yards and 3 TD's.

Comes down to a final Utah drive that unbelievably the Cougars are able to stop with a turnover.

BYU wins 34-28.

As you're dreaming about the Cougars' unbelievable turn over King Loius will be kicking a field goal to push the Utes over the Cougs as the clock expires.

BYU will be 1 for 1 on 4th down conversions and that 1 first down conversion will be for 18 yards. You can sew it on your cap!

Pitta was walking around on the sideline after he got hurt... if it was anything serious, he wouldn't have been on his feet. He probably will not be at full strength but he will play. Even if he doesn't, there are other options at WR and RB to catch the ball. Unga hasn't been as big a part of the pass offense this year because other guys (Pitta, Collie, etc) have stepped it up, so he hasn't needed to, allowing Bronco to keep him fresh for the running game. Even without Pitta, we can throw in Unga and get Utah's linebackers mismatched. Utah's defense can't match up with BYU's offense. I'm worried about the BYU defense but in terms of position-specific matchups, it looks like BYU has the cumulative advantage.
