2.NEVER POINT A GUN_EVEN ONE YOU THINK ISN'T REAL OR LOADED AT YOURSELF OR ANOTHER PERSON
those are the two rules I taught all my kids since they were tots and NOT one has ever shown any interest in owning or using a gun. I have always liked to shoot skeet (clay pigeons)and I own a shotgun-it stays put away with a trigger lock on it and the shells are locked up too.
MY deepest condolances to the teenager's family--I think the fool who brought the gun onto school property is at least civilly if not criminally negligent. Since the article doesn't say WHO brought the gun or how this 15 year old got it -the D.A. should look into it to and make sure to take the educational and if appropriate legal steps to prevent any further accidents of this kind.
