I like that Williams is as smart as he is. He tested his ankle in a real game, saw it wasn't working out, then concluded he didn't need to hurt the team by not being able to perform to his standards. Smart. We're lucky to have a PG as smart and focused as he is.

So far this year (and last), D-Will and AK are the only players who have the right attitude. All of the others just go through the motions, relying on their skills to get them by. Well, maybe Brewer is another with the right attitude. His hustle seems to show it, but I'm not sure if his mindset is quite the same as D-Will's and AK's.

It's this mindset that makes perennial allstars out of great players. The mindset that YOU are in charge of what's going on, that YOUR effort (110% all the time) is what wins games.

Boozer doesn't have (I'll bet he thinks he does), Millsap doesn't (though he'll always work hard), and none of the other players who get time don't.

A whole team doesn't have to have this mindset, but it'd help if at least 5 of them did.

With Williams, Kerilenko, and Okur out the Jazz will definately have to play better so that they dont pull up another loss. Once the 3 players come back i think that the Jazz will be an extraordinary basketball team. They dont have very much competition with the Spurs because the Spurs lost Tony Parker and Ginobli. As long as the Jazz do their best i am OK with it. GO JAZZ!!!!!
