Are you guys really up at 1:00am just to post on these boards? There is nothing you can do to influence the outcome of today's games.
I'll bet the AFA players' mindset is this is a BIG game that they are "determined to win" because they haven't in awhile.
If those are indeed the mindsets, BYU loses. If not, BYU wins, sans dumb turnovers. BYU's offensive weapons should overbalance AFA's, and the defenses (recently, at least), appear even against the offenses they'll see today.
BYU needs to keep their future goals alive by having the right attitude today. None of this workman-like stuff. GET UP, GUYS!
BYU has more at stake than this year's goals (MWC championship, etc.). Recruiting can be hurt by a poor showing at year's end. A lot more is at stake in today's game than will be at Utah next week, in this respect. Losing to AFA will hurt recruiting more than losing to Utah, who'd go to a BCS bowl if they don't stumble at SDSU today.
Oddly, for BYU, winning out could possibly get them into a BCS bowl if Boise State loses this week or next. But not winning out drops them to an insignificant bowl. OUCH!
Must you make all BYU fans look like idiots? It is only obvious he didn't say Utah was the team to beat because the Falcons have already lost to them. He is hoping they can win out against TCU and BYU.
