TCU is the Best in the MWC | 12:20 a.m. Nov. 15, 2008
Notice he said we are the team to beat, along with TCU not the U. We have a reputation, the U just got lucky against a better TCU team.

I hope the Utes just mangle the Cougars next week. They are still such haughty little old men to the bitter end. It really makes me aggravated how puffed up they are. With the licking they took one would think they'd button it. But no--they're still spouting off. Go Utes and go TCU. Horsey boy's team is a pack of kitty litter.

Come on now !! BYU got smoked by TCU while the UTES, despite not playing their best game, still rolled over the Frogs. You need to compare apples to apples and give UTAH their due, dude. Talk smack if your molasses-slow team happens to take off their cement shoes and they play the game that we Americans call football ! Oh by the way, don't hold your breath waiting for this to happen...the Greenland glacier called and thinks BYU is slow !!!

Im pretty sure he didn't say Utah was the team to beat because airforce already lost to them. Of course byu and tcu are the teams for them to beat since they are the only ones left to play. Also while Utah is surpasing the vegas bowl by playing at a BCS game (unlike tcu or the cougs) Airforce still has a shot at it. Your quite uneducated I must say.

Are you the same ... | 4:12 a.m. Nov. 15, 2008
... Anonymous as posting 2 or are there just a bunch of anonymous Newt fans in here? After 22 Nov you Newts will be wearing bags on your heads when you go to the mall and to your Poinsettia Bowl re-match against Oregon State.

Zoobies are fun to read about and it will be even more fun watching our athletic Utes run circles around the clawless kittens. The only bright spot for BYU will be the food raid at the MTC cafeteria after the game where they will increase their line size (gee they sure are scary, but can't run), and take the fast track to diabetes. Delightful.

IT'S JUST A GAME! | 6:11 a.m. Nov. 15, 2008
Kill the hate! Get a life! It's just a game! You bitter Utes and Cougars kill me. Can't we all get along? They players do. The fans are horrible! Take your hate elsewhere.

Unfortunately, my computer model calls this one for Air Force, with an 80% liklihood.

What is it with Utah fans? One would think you have ADD or something as you don't seem to be able to stay on topic. This article is about BYU and Air Force. Take your medication and save the BYU-Utah trash talk for next week.

Ok gauchos, we will give the Utes some credit; however you need to check your comments as well. First off you said, "despite not playing their best game." Sounds like an excuse, to me good teams make other teams not play to their best ability; which was the case for both TCU and Utah when they played each other. Second you said, "still rolled over the Frogs." You honestly call 13-10 rolling over an opponent? I am just having a hard time believing that, if that is the case I guess the Utes have now "rolled over" two teams, TCU and New Mexico. To be honest, I am worried about the rivalry next week but realize anything can happen in a rivalry game; but dude don't give your team more credit than due.

Get ready for loss # 2 today and # 3 next week, unless you start living right again.

Your sports psychology is way off for a game like this one. It doesn't matter who beat whom in the past--you can't compare it that way. What really matters is which team shows up ready for THIS game. I hope Coach Whittingham doesn't think the same way you do because I've witnessed coaches who have been foolish enough to compare past wins, and they've come out on the losing end!

I'm not a BYU or Utah fan but to say Utah rolled over TCU is a joke..TCU lost the game, but by no means did Utah "roll" over TCU..Your getting a little ahead of yourself little gaucho..

The Utes are simply over-rated. They have no home field advantage against the Cougars at RES. BYU's offense will win the day. The Ute offense will try to score one last drive to bring the score to respectibility. Cougars win 42-24.

The Utes 'rolled over the Frogs'? Are we talking about the same Utah-TCU game? First let me say that I was rooting for Utah in that game and was scared for most of the game that they were going to lose. Maybe you meant to say that the Frogs rolled over the Utes and Utah should be counting their lucky stars that TCU missed 2 field goals. At one point, midway through the 2nd quarter, I stopped paying attention to the game because I though it was simply a matter of time until TCU blew the game open. Utah couldn't stop TCU in the first half, and TCU had Utah's number on defense. Utah is lucky that game didn't get out of hand early on. Giving Utah their due (at least in terms of the TCU game) means saying they were downright lucky to win.

Yeah, I have to agree with Anonymous 1:30am, I think you, brother TCU is the Best..., read that comment with your heart and not your head.

Are you guys really up at 1:00am just to post on these boards? There is nothing you can do to influence the outcome of today's games.

I'll bet the BYU players' mindset is this is a BIG game that they "can't afford to lose."

I'll bet the AFA players' mindset is this is a BIG game that they are "determined to win" because they haven't in awhile.

If those are indeed the mindsets, BYU loses. If not, BYU wins, sans dumb turnovers. BYU's offensive weapons should overbalance AFA's, and the defenses (recently, at least), appear even against the offenses they'll see today.

BYU needs to keep their future goals alive by having the right attitude today. None of this workman-like stuff. GET UP, GUYS!

BYU has more at stake than this year's goals (MWC championship, etc.). Recruiting can be hurt by a poor showing at year's end. A lot more is at stake in today's game than will be at Utah next week, in this respect. Losing to AFA will hurt recruiting more than losing to Utah, who'd go to a BCS bowl if they don't stumble at SDSU today.

Oddly, for BYU, winning out could possibly get them into a BCS bowl if Boise State loses this week or next. But not winning out drops them to an insignificant bowl. OUCH!

To Anon 1:30. Your points are fair, but what do you know about another poster's education? Call them uninformed or stupid, but "your (sic) quite uneducated" doesn't hit home.

To: TCU is the best in the MWC

Must you make all BYU fans look like idiots? It is only obvious he didn't say Utah was the team to beat because the Falcons have already lost to them. He is hoping they can win out against TCU and BYU.

After BYU lost to TCU, they almost got beat by the next two WEAK teams they played. BYU isn't very good... definitely not top 25.
