It's nice to see that Utah is focused on this game with the opportunity to grab a share of the Mountain West Championship.

Go Ute's. Ute's roll 56-10. Offense gets a nice warm-up for the mighty kittens from the bubble.

Bring it on koodies!!!

I hope the unstoppable Utes don't get lonely as they sit on top of the conference all alone. Hopefully they can look past AFA and TCU to say hello to the Zoobs in 4th place. Take your place Zoobs, subpar at best every year.

I mean I guess we have to beat SDSU first before we start on the TDS. But hey, they play SDSU, only one of the worst teams in America that has mailed it in.

So lets get this going...

Utah will dominate the "WHY" because their defense is talented, fast, and not to mention just plain good! Collie in all of his greatness had a bad game against Utah last year except for the blown play. I expect the same this year. Max never looks off Collie and Peta which really helps us out. Harvey is got as my 4-year old calls it several "owies". No worry there!!!

And finally, Utah will put points on the board against the vaunted TDS defense.

GO Ute... Utah 59-6 over SDSU, and 38-24 over TDS...

Hey cougs, if you lose to AFA, and then get beat at Utah, technically your qwest for perfection is still good if you throw out your 0-3 against teams with WINNING records...

... now? Let's see how the Newts do against a nothing team at the bottom of the food chain. As for you "All alone," what do you mean "subpar at best every year", are you talking about the Newts? If the Y is subpar every year, why have they beaten you guys the past two years and are two-time and defending conference champs? I guess that makes you red-headed step children "sub-subpar"!

Utah wins outright with... | 5:14 a.m. Nov. 15, 2008
Won't Utah claim the title outright with their win over the Aztecs and the TDS's loss to the Falcons? Assuming the impossible (i.e. The TDS actually beats Utah), that would mean Utah and TCU end up tied in the conference schedule, but Utah beat TCU head to head.

Lets not forget that BYU was all alone for the past two straight years. The Utes have played well this year and quite frankly BYU should be worried for next week, but anything can happen in a rivalry. It will be interesting to see if the Utes can put together undefeated back to back MWC seasons. (Oh that is if they win next week.)

Hello | 9:16 a.m. Nov. 15, 2008
I'm a Big Ute Fan and our team is so great we could beat the NY Giants right now and win the Super Bowl. How do I know this? Why, look at how we absolutely blew TCU out of the water at a very tough place to play, RES. Sure they lost to Oklahoma by a much bigger margin but Oklahoma just got LUCKY and the refs were helping them just like they always help the team down south on every play of every game. That's the only reason the team down south wins ANY games at all and EVERYBODY knows it. And the only reason we ever lose any games is because all of our players are injured, not because another team is better than us.

Hahahahaha! The 1st two posts are from BYU-obsessed yoot fans who stayed up (or got up) in the middle of the night to post comments so they could talk about BYU when it's an article about yoot football! The little brothers up north just can't leave it alone, always trying to pester their Big Brother BYU. Always jumping up and down trying to get the attention of their Big Brothers "Hey, look at me! Look at me! I'm important too!!" Just too funny! Hahahahahahahaha!!!!

History Repeats Itself | 10:17 a.m. Nov. 15, 2008
BYU is going to smash Utah in Salt Lake next week. I can see Brian Johnson leaving the game, because he is fragile! He is not an accurate passer either, and will make mistakes. Expect at least two interceptions from B. Johnson given to the BYU defense.

Two years in a row, Utah thought they had the game won late in the game, but BYU proves time and time again that they don't give up, and they will come back to win the game.

BYU wins by more than 10 points next Saturday. Utah, you can enjoy the Las Vegas Bowl, and BYU will have a nice Fiesta in Glendale, Arizona! Go Cougars!

You won't win. This week or next. And Boise is not going to lose. So how are you geting into a BCS bowl?

0-3 against schools with a winning record. NICE!!!!

GO utes

re History repeats itself:

You can't honestly be banking on two interceptions for your high school defense. We didn't turn the ball over at all to TCU; are you saying your D is better than the best in the nation? Maybe we should ask Colorado State, or even TCU themselves.... It seems like the team that should be focused on this week (byu) is looking to next week; meanwhile, the Utes remain focused on another BCS party. Keep dreaming, cougies! 1984 was a long time ago.

GO UTES!

That would be nice, because that will probably be the scenario (not the loss to TDS, just the games this week), unfortunately there are no tie-breakers in the MWC to determine the conference champion. The only tie-breaker used is to determine who goes to which bowl.

Small correction...the last two years BYU was SUPPOSED to win, and win they did; with a last minute miracle.

So, this year it looks like the Utes will be the favorite. Given the outcome the last two years when BYU was expected to win going away, I would not bet against the Utes next week.

Think about it!

Though you hide behind the anonymity of this board, your writing style is unmistakable. Earlier this week one of your fellow BYU fans said that you do not reflect the values of Coach Mendenhall and that BYU does not need you as a fan. One of your own shut you down...hard.

I am going to tell you now that your words are not clever they are irresponsible.

Re: Obsession | 1:30 p.m. Nov. 15, 2008
Dear Brother Obsession,

I've explained this to you before so let's go through it again, please pay attention and try to learn this time. Little brothers receive gifts from big brothers. This is because because big brothers have to take care of their little brothers. That's just the way it works in families.

So far, it is the Utes who have bestowed more than $1 Million on TDS. In fact, BYU has NEVER done ANYTHING for ANYBODY.

So, will the 'real' little brother please stand up (if he has enough backbone to do so).

Sincerely,

Big Brother Utah Fan

RE: Hello | 1:35 p.m. Nov. 15, 2008
ha oh i get it, you are using sarcasm. How clever of you, you must be tickled pink with your self. It is cute when BYU fans do things like that. Are you still upset about having to toss your sweet new t-shirt, you know the quest for perfection? oh yes i forgot you can still wear it to be perfect off the football feild. Are you upset Utah already has 10 wins and BYU does not? I am sorry that Utah is the better team. Well hey look at the bright side you defense might limit AF to only 315 yards on the ground. Still you will have to wait another game to see what a COMPLETE team does to you, well i guess you already saw against TCU

You claim the Ute fans are obsessed with BYU and yet here you are, a BYU fan on a Utah article accusing us of obsessing over you. This just in; Pot calls kettle black.
