Yes, Hurricane WAS the better team, as I stated BEFORE the game started!
Hurricane ALWAYS has been the BETTER team and DID much less "trash
talking" before the game and obviously focus on the game at hand instead of
spouting off about winning a State Title and beating JD next week! Of course
YOU have too root for Hurricane so IF they beat JD (considering that JD beats PC
today) then YOU (Morgan) can say to LOST to the State Champions! Nothing
against Hurricane (a GREAT Football Team), but JD already beat the 2nd BEST Team
in 3A, Logan! The game last week at JD was the State Championship Game .... it
was too BAD Logan lost to Morgan and we had to play in the Quarter Finals. IMO,
Logan will be the TOUGHEST / BEST team JD will play this year! Good Game
Hurricane ... Hope we can see you next week!

If the Logan JD game was the championship it would be played next Friday at the U, not at your home field. You also might want to start considering the fact that Logan wasn't what you and everyone else in the state thought they were. If Logan would've been all you seem to think they were they would've beat Morgan to win they're region. You might want to start looking for a more accurate measuring stick, than your Logan win, before next week, or better yet before kick off today. I grew up playing against PC and hating them, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but GO PARK CITY!!

Looks like morgan was way over rated. They cant throw. They couldnt run on the
defense. You only had one player, maybe two (#4, #24) that looked good the rest
were average to horrible at best. hurricane was way better to bad logan didnt
make it or we would have done the same thing to them too.

.... Then YOU might have a shot at a Championship! EVERYONE ALL Year said JD is
OVERRATED, well PC and Hurricane will find out first hand .... The hard way!
Just as 12 OTHERS have! EVEN when I give Hurricane props on a GOOD win and say
things like "I had Hurricane making it to the Finals" .... This is
what I get! Gee Thanks! GO PARK CITY! I say it like I see it ..... sometimes
people do not like that ...... But I will say it again .... Good game Hurricane
.... Hope to see you next week and IF we do the score WILL NOT be as close as
the score was in the Logan game (AS they are the #2 Team in 3A IMO) ....
JD's "D" will CARRY them to a State Championship! Just remember

You might think you are so Great, but might want to be Ready for Today let alone
next week if you make it. Hurricane is all the same size like you, so it might
be a great game to watch next week if you get past PC. I think I will come watch
the Game even though I don't think it is fair to use the Whole State as
Boundries for your Athletics Programs. I stay up on who wins the State titles in
Each Sport and it seems like JD is their in about every Sport even the Girls. So
don't tell me that you don't talk to Players to come their and Play. I
would send my Son or Daughter their also for the Academics as well as for
Sports, but they have already committed to stay at their own High School. My Son
has been talked too about Playing at JD and has really considered it, because
you can Graduate from their with 37 College Credits and already be a Sophmore in
College. But he is going to stay at his own School and win State Next year.

Never in the history of this world has a weak eagle ever killed a glorious
tiger. Even though the eagle stands for our great country, the eagle that
represents Juan Diego is silly just like their football team. The only way that
they can win state is if they some how massacre the tiger's team, which by
the way is impossible. Then they would have to answer to the TIGER
ARMY!!!!!!!!!

The game is played on the field and no matter how many words and puffed chests
are put out here that fact remains the only truth. I am just proud of a bunch of
boys that have become men and do their talking on the field and then move on
with class. Coach Homer deserves a lot more credit than he has gotten. He
hasnt just taught boys how to play a game but has taught young men how to be
successful both on and off the field. I urge the Hurricane fans to continue to
show class and support the boys and let the game be played on the field and not
through words on a blog. GO Tigers! win or lose next week you have shown you are
winners in the big game.

I think everyone who was at the game last night would agree that it was a great
game. Both teams played well. Congrats to Hurricane. They played hard and got a
great win. The score didn't accurately reflect the way the game was played.
Some bad breaks close to the end zone turned the tide against Morgan but they
did move the ball effectively and had sustained drives. We are proud of our boys
and the great season they treated us to. We may grow them small in Morgan but we
grow them tough and with heart. Thanks Coach C for all you've done. To JD
Fan, what has Morgan ever done to you??? Our boys said that Hurricane was a
class act and I believe they would say the same about us. Go Tigers!!! WE hope
you take it all!

Great job Hurricane! Way to pull out the win in spite of the hype. Focus is

No shame for Morgan--they played a great game.
JD fans: there isn't any need to be arrogant. No need to beat down Morgan. They were a classy team.
As a Hurricane fan, I am proud of the team. The school spirit is up! The team really is grateful for each of the victories this season as they know how fleeting success can be. Go Tigers!

Interesting thought here, JD fans... Hurricane plays in a 4A league (out of
necessity) - and their only loss was a double overtime loss to Pine View @ PV
(top 5 ranked 4A team all year). Nothing against JD, but was their competition
(outside of Logan) anything to get excited about? I doubt it. JD can certainly
put up the numbers, but where has their level of competition been all year?
Next week should be a great matchup - but my money is on the Tigers at this
point...

To all JD fans... Region 8 was not what you'd call impressive. Region 9
(Hurricane's Region) is made up of 3 4A teams and 4 3A teams - a bit
tougher level of competition... Furthermore, Hurricane's only loss was a
double overtime loss @ Pine View (a top 5 4A team all year). No disrespect to
JD, but other than Logan, where is your "schedule strength?" Whom
have you beaten en route to your "perfect season?" Head-to-head, what
was the score of both teams vs. Park City? Something to think about...

Great game Tigers you earned this victory. To all you JD fan lets not forget who
crushed park city earlier in the year if any of you think this is going to be a
walk trew for a state championship think again Hurricane is HUNGRY for a title.

the real score was 14-3 JD got lucky and scored twice in the final four minutes
of the game when PC was trying to hurry up and score. Get real JD and be
prepared to meet a real team for the first time this season. Go H-Town. Law Dawg
for life.

As a player I would just like to say good game hurricane. I think JD better
watch out. After playing Logan and hurricane it is no question which team was
tougher. That being said I wish it would have gone the other way I think we
could've won the game but made some crucial turnovers, or we could be in
the title game. But hats off to hurricane, it's your game to lose. We will
be cheering for you in the finals.

Do some research huh... If you had you have seen that morgan fans have been all
over several articiales blogging about meeting JD in the finals. Attacking JD
and over looking the tigers... Hmm maybe that is why they lost. NO ONE from Jd
is overlooking the tigers. We will bring our A game and hopefully the tiger
bring theirs. Then we will really know who deserve the title.
