How about Yura Movsisyan...He's been relentless in the attack and worked
hard. He's a big part of the reason we are where we are. And to think we
got him from Kansas City for two future draft picks. What a steal! Kansas City
is hating themselves right now. HA HA

Yura Movsisyan did not join our team in the middle of the year. He has been
with us since the beginning of this year, and I believe we actually got him last
year. He has just not been a regular started for us.

I still think | 11:42 a.m. Nov. 11, 2008
Deuchar or Findley should get some chances in the starting XI.

I actually like Robbie Russell in the back more than Joy. I feel he is quicker
and better at helping with the offense when he comes up. And the impact of Will
Johnson is a no brainer. Oh, and Deseret News has way better coverage of RSL
than the Tribe. Thank you for your work D news!

Please don't (think). Thinking like that would not see RSL where it is
currently.

You really think Mathis deserves the start up front? When Findley has come in
both games and ended up with wonderful attacks on goal. while Mathis has how
many goals and assists? right ZERO NONE NADA NILCH. He's great at ball
control I won't take that from him. but he's playing the striker
position with ZERO NADA NILCH in the terms of goals. time to be replaced.
Sorry. its just that simple. If YURA didn't score goals he would be
replaced.

Mathis isn't | 5:31 p.m. Nov. 11, 2008
Mathis isn't playing striker. Go read old posts. He is playing as a second
attacking mid in a diagonal position from Javi. He provides possesion for a team
build for a narrow RES field, and distributes the ball well.

mathis | 6:38 p.m. Nov. 11, 2008
mathis is probably the only true skill player we have. he has composure and
touch that most MLS players are desperately lacking. we definitely need him in
our starting 11 regardless of whether he scores. we need quality soccer and
mathis provides that. if only he were in better shape.

I really like Johnson and Russell. I can't believe that we got them. They
have had an instant impact on the team. I know Johnson will get the start, but
I also hope that Russell will get the start this weekend.

How is Mathis the only true skill player we have? Are you saying the Morales is
not a true skill player? Please explain.

Enough about Mathis | 9:17 p.m. Nov. 11, 2008
I want to declare the end of discussion regarding Mathis. He is on the team. His
play should speak for itself (I won't say whether it speaks well or not). I
don't care anymore. We are in the Western Conference Championships.
Breathe. Smile. Get excited. Let's talk about kicking some trash this
Saturday, not about the philosophy of Mathis' position. I am bored with the
talk. Go REAL. And since Mathis is on the payroll, go Mathis. Heck, even go Andy
Williams. That one is very difficult for me to say.

I used to hate | 9:50 a.m. Nov. 12, 2008
Mathis, and Williams, and Movsisyan but then we stopped losing games. We also
stopped letting other teams score late goals, so now I respect them. Also after
I heard what Andy is goign through I have soooo much respect for him. I know
lots of fans still haven't gotten over Mathis but the team has been better
since we got him. So give it a rest already! We are much more composed and
confident with Mathis in the starting 11.
