Props to Korver for learning to embrace that place. The thing I have a difficult time understanding is that now he has been gone for a year, why he still pines for the place. Jeff Hornacek hated the place and has never looked back. Charles Barkely once said Philly fans are the worst in the NBA. In time, Korver will probably get over it as well but it makes you wonder if he'll try to sign with them as a free agent after this season.
My son lives in Philly and loves it there. But, it took him a year or two.
"FRIENDS"
-How romantic
Keep it up!
GO JAZZ - lets get the 76ers tonight
As someone who was born and bred in the city and surrounding area I find your remarks sad. I have been in countless large cities and everyone has their pro's and cons. To label Philly's bad points without acknowledging it's good points is quite unfair. It's rich history, museums, hospitals, parks, boat house row, sports, schools and colleges, etc. etc. etc. can not be left out in the equation. And yes, even most of the people. Korver is missed here, and we wish him all the best with the Jazz.
I sounds as if korver doesn't really want to be here.
They were happy about getting cap space for him...
Maybe he is just naive...
