This is why we have a deep bench. Sit Ak47 for thunder game and let CJ play more mins. No worries thunder shouldnt be a problem, just play hard and Jazz will win. Get Ak47 ready for the road game.

He MUST PLAY! | 2:46 p.m. Nov. 6, 2008
Sorry Tommy, I have AK on my Fantasy B-Ball team, and he is playing this week... to sit him would not be a good thing! C'mon man, think of my team!

AK played really well in the Portland win. He also go smacked very hard. You could see the bruise on his face during the game.

So far CJ has not done much. I suspect that Korver, Brewer and Sap will get a lot more time. However, neither of them can do what AK can do. I used to think AK was over paid. I am beginning to change that opinion.

I am hoping CJ does start playing much better.

AK is instrumental to for all four games. Although Thunders should not be a great problem, we should not think it is a must-win even without AK / D Will.

Therefore, I will like to see D Will to start the game and play for ~20mins, which could give him a chance to get back his rhythm for the Road Trip. More importantly, the next game is very likely to be a memorable game for Coach Sloan (although himself may not think it is that memorable).

MIles | 6:15 p.m. Nov. 6, 2008
DW27 I will enlighten you. CJ is like 22 years old. Nothing but upside. He hasn't had much game experience the past 3 years. He is now getting that experience. Look at DWill, he needed about 70 games until he got the start and it wasn't until his 3rd year of starting every day that he became your idol. CJ just needs some on the job training and he will be an allstar in this league. In another month, you will see the results start to pay off. And for those who want to cut Miles, it will never happen. Just got a new contract.

i agree with the guy who posted as miles, i don't think cj is playing up to what he's capable of right now, he's definitely in a funk; he needs to redouble his efforts on the d end, just as a point of focus, and not even think about offense. he has been off on his shooting, and i know he's a better shooter than that. i have to admit, if it doesn't get better for miles, harpring will take his job. I think it's just a matter of time for miles, because he's been decent on d and has been moving without the ball well-so you know once he figures out how to contribute-all the haters are going to feel like the luckiest fans alive to have him signed, like all the former ak haters now feel lucky to have ak. i'm huge cj and ak fans, because they're quick and long and talented. ak is a veteran and should be expected to be able to adjust to a new role, and ak is doing well, because ak is a player who can lead. cj used to be that utility man, he'll define his new role.

I take back giving any kind of basketball advice, when i say cj needs to do this or that, it's just what i think he needs to do. i can say positvely, that cj has showed me enough that i believe he'll pull out of it.

AK is so long and such a good defender, he's the perfect counter to the equally long Kevin Durant. If CJ guards him 40 minutes, Durant could go off. I still think we win the game though.
