Fair lawsuit | 11:02 a.m. Nov. 6, 2008
If anyone has followed Lisa's story, they'll realize that this lawsuit
was fair...and hopefully will help prevent the same hospital-caused injuries to
another patient.

I can't imagine having a wonderful experience like a new addition to the
family turn into such life-changing health challenges. My best to Lisa and her
family in their struggles. I hope the settlement of this suit will bring you
peace and hopefully, financially, some security now and for the future.

I'm so sorry any of this happened, I hope the money will help improve your
quality of life and make day to day life a little easier. I know money
can't possibly replace what was taken, but hopefully the temporal help will
give you some measure of comfort until all is restored to you.

This was a tragic, devastating ending to what should have been the happiest day
of Lisa's life. I hope she got the full amount of the suit, she and her
family deserve more! Money can not replace what these negligent doctors and
nurses took from Lisa and her family. They should all rethink their denial of
wrong-doing!!

It's easy to throw the blame around isn't it? My heart goes out to
Lisa and her family, but to those of you calling for the heads of the medical
professionals involved I think you should step back and think about what happens
when you make a mistake. What kind of responsibility do you have and are you
allowed to make mistakes at home or work? Physicians aren't. How would it
be to live a life where mistakes are unacceptable? You think these people are
enjoying life in their ivory towers?
