Demos gaining clout in Congress

I think that the country is in trouble with the demise of the conservative middle. The Bush/Cheney, right wingers have no answers, and the country could use a nice moderate center with the likes of McCain, and possibly shape shifter Mitt. I just hope that the Democrats don't think this was an affirmation of them so much, as a rejection of the clueless conservative movement.
