RE Region 1, Where are you getting your info? Alta doesn't recruit. We get our players from south Sandy and Draper. We play with what we have locally. Can you point out some of these players from "around the valley". I can think of some good talent that should be playing for Alta because of the boundaries that play for other schools but I don't know of anyone playing for us from other schools areas.

Les Hamilton is one of the smartest coaches in Utah. If you look at his short yet successful career as a head coach, You'll see why Alta has been so great.He's been a head coach for five years and 3 of those 5 teams have played in the ship. though he's only got one championship under his belt the man has been there often and can prepare his team and make in game adjustments like no one i've ever seen. You are actually quite factually incorrect.

Many, many more Alta kids actually LEAVE Alta's boundaries to play for neighboring schools like Alta, Hillcrest or Brighton, because they don't think they will get playing time at Alta.

Very, very rarely will you see someone from outside Alta's boundaries come into the area. If all Alta kids went to Alta, it would be much, much stronger (e.g., look at Jordan High's team right now for Alta area kids on it).

GO DARTS!!! Someone please take Alta out! I am sick to DEATH of hearing about how great they are. They are very well coached but they are also over confidant..arrogant and lack sportsmanship..I have watched these kids evolve and I have one thing to say...whomever is backing their football program might want want to consider teaching thier boys what being humble and gracious is all about. You have a good team but you lack so many other things..good job Viewmont for keeping your composure during that awful game!! Go Darts!! take it to the house..and if you can't at least go down kicking and screaming!!!

Please, don't bring Bingham into this! This one is between you Davis and Alta fans. We have enough to be concerned about in our game with Jordan. Both of your teams have proven yourselves to be good or you'd have turned in your pads by now.
For the record, I think Alta is going to win this one. No offense intended to the Darts, I just think the Hawks will be too much for you.
PS: "Alta", please use spell check. I do it with every post I put up so as to reduce the number of misspellings in them. I know it seems like nit-picking but you really do make yourself look bad with mistakes like "Gurantee", "causr" and "deffense".

Davis is going to come out gunning and run over Alta in a close fought game that goes to the wire. Doesnt matter if Davis is the underdog, it why you play the game.

IF and thats a huge unlikely IF, Alta loses I'll come back and admit defeat to Davis. To everyone from Davis saying how they're going to win here's the challenge: If Davis loses be man enough to come back and own up to the post you made talking smack and say Alta was the better team. Hey ALTAFAN....dude...get real. WHEN you loose, you will be no where a computer. You will drive your salvage title 300 series BMW back to your in-laws and go right to your room in the basement and pass right by the computer.

If you do, it will only be to make excuses like the ref made a bad call, or the coach made a mistake.

You battled Alta tough....to bad lost. Once again, the good guys ended up on the losing side of the scoreboard. I thought Alta would dominate, but just as the ball is oblong, any given day, any team can win. See you next year Davis.

Wow couple things first off. 1 I live on my own in a little ghetto apartment,2 I don't drive a nice car, 3 I wouldn't make excuses. Now that that's out of the way. Alta definately had a poor showing for the first half. I'm not going to deny that at all. I was very disappointed. I think it's fair to say that once we get our heads in the game there was no stopping us. You know we could have scored at the end of that last drive had we not chose to kneel out the last minute. Another thing while six turnovers is horrible do you think you could win still? (obviously no)

I'm just a girl but... Ha ha nice :). Good job with Jordan I was there for the second half. Look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks

Davis you played a good game. A lot better then I thought it would be. Alta definately came out flat in the first half. I think Olsen was passing to you more then to us. When it's all said and done you do have a good D (and a great band I might add). In the end not enough though. When we finally got our heads on straight for the second half there was no stopping us. Show me another team that can overcome seven turnovers and still win.

Davis kicked Alta's rear end. Olsen got pounded by the Davis D-Line all night long. Alta is darn lucky to be advancing to the next round. Wait until next year, Davis will be even better.
