Please wave Miles and sign someone else. I have an old piece of 2x4 with a bent
nail in it that you can sign.

Don't waive Collins. He is a solid backup! I agree he has less potential
than Fez, but he doesn't make rookie mistakes like Fez. He can hit the
10-15 ft jumpshot and is a decent rebounder and a better defender than Boozer.
Until you find a better replacement he is our best option.

Bobby Hansen | 5:40 p.m. Oct. 26, 2008
I come from the long lost graveyard of old Jazzmen. We humbly support CJ Miles
and ask that fans wait until the regular season to judge said 21 year old. We
will channel our ethereal selves to his shooting arm so that he will go 29-30 in
3 pointers through the first 5 games. So sayeth the Wise Bobby Hansen.

i somewhat agree | 5:44 p.m. Oct. 26, 2008
Miles is 5 years into the NBA and still the coaches are afraid to put him on the
court, thats no good. I dont agree with the waiving of Miles but we should trade
him. I have a lot of faith in our team but we are still one piece away. Why did
we not make a move to get Camby or James Posey. Now we just might have been
leaped frog by the Hornets.

Miles has been | 7:43 p.m. Oct. 26, 2008
in the NBA for 3 years. He is in his fourth. I have no clue where you're
getting 5 from.

As great as it would've been to get camby, there's no way we would
have gotten him. A: Denver would never give someone like camby to a division
rival; they dont want to contribute to helping us improve on our weaknesses.
The reason they got rid of him was to free up cap space, so they werent looking
to get anything good for him, which is why they wouldnt think about coming to
us. B: if we did get him where would we put him? We would have to bench him,
boozer, or okur, i dont see any of the 3 being happy with going to the bench.
That would just stir up locker room problems and we finally seem to have gotten
over all that, so i wouldn't want anything to start that up again.
Regarding Posey, we couldnt afford him, plain and simple. And again, where
would we put him? He was a free agent so we couldnt free up room on the bench to
put him in the lineup. neither player was ever a possibility of coming here.
