I just can't believe this. The sources are of course suspect. Realators would like you to think it is always time to buy houses.

After all, don't we all have lots of extra money from the stock market to spend on a "homebuying spree"

This just defies common sense to me.

i was thinking the same thing. This goes contrary to every article about the financial collapse. People are not spending, banks are going broke and not lending, etc,etc...

With the markets in the tank and lending almost at a standstill this is a classic example of hot air injection by those who rely on the real estate market for their livelihoods.

Don't buy the hype. Housing is nowhere near the bottom.

The real estate market will probably continue to decline into 2009, and then it will start to pick up. Not a bad time to keep your eye on good opportunities.
