Witness refuses to meet Jeffs' attorneys

Where are all the accusations about the flds scareing the witness from testifying. The "willie stared at me " accusations could be used again to justify not testifying. Let the accusations by the witness to stand and leave the gossip out there by feigning fear and anxiety over non-existant threats.
Perhaps it will take a million dollar check signed by Wisan to persuade the witness to follow the law.

Excuse me, but I understand the requirement that witnesses can be deposed by opposing counsel in a CIVIL action, but I've never heard of such a requirment in a CRIMINAL action???
