A prescription for death

Aphedrine and country music are a dangerous combination. I always like truckers well in front or behind me.

For that matter, prescription medications would fall into the third category; those who have "excuse from pain" wouldn't need painkillers.

The peple who are abusing these drugs are generally not overdosing soley for pain related purposes. Many are using these drugs as a way of coping with secondary issues such as depression, mental illness and other life problems. The drugs when taken in excess offer a temporary escape from reality, but require more and more to be taken each time until the day they push it to far with a fatal overdose. The answer is certainly for more informed patient, and for the doctors prescribing these pills to more closely monitor the mental health of the patient.

I started taking them legitimately for sever chronic pain, after being paralyzed in an auto accident. But after years of pain, and doctors not wanting to really help, and passing me off to the next guy, I became so dependent on them, it was like a living nightmare. Finally, I was able to find a doctor who did a radical operation on my spinal cord (in Denver). I could finally get off pain meds. But its too late, my brain is slow and weak now. I really wish I had just passed away in the accident. Pain pills cost me everything... my wife(s), children, jobs, health... everything. I HATE THEM. Pain pills ruin lives!!

Tell us something we don't know about pain pills. And if it weren't for truckers your stupid face wouldn't get fed. I'm truly sorry for Drugs Ruined me god bless you.
