Ford's movies are on a slippery slop. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is the best thing he's been in for years � and it had some problems. It's time to retire, or at least stop being the leading man.
As for Robert Duvall and Michael Caine, both of these guys are more character actors than leading men. The reason Caine puts out so many movies is because he doesn't consider it below him to play Batman's butler, or other supporting roles. Duvall was the best thing (perhaps the only good thing) in Step Brothers. In taking on these smaller roles, both Duvall and Caine have classed up the screen time and again.
