Steering clear of distracted driving

I'd like to see this offered with Driver's Ed classes, particularly in the high schools. If it would take an extra fee, I'd pay it. I'd also like to see an insurance discount for those who do take it. Hopefully all who participated learned lessons that will stick.

I would like to know what the percent is of people's lives that have been saved by not wearing a seat belt. The real question is was she using auto spell?

You know what is funny? People complaining about their insurance rates, that�s funny. Each time a person gets in an accident we all pay for it. There is so much speeding, red light running, texting, eating, and distracted driving that there are many accidents every day. If everyone drove with more care and more manners we would all save money. There would be fewer accidents, fewer law suits, fewer hospital bills, you name it. We need to get everyone to be more careful.

The answer would be only a handful that would have died if they had been wearing the seat belt. Comparing that to how many would have been saved had they worn one is why no intelligent person would ever think of not buckling up.

Well, i was a distractor in the cars at this event, and i would definitely pay extra to take this class. it was so much fun but an eye opener at the same time. It really shows us teens how much we can really be distracted, even going 25 mph. Think of going 60 on the freeway! It really helped me think twice about how quick we can be distracted. Hopefully we all will be a little more cautious. oh-and btw....GO KEARNS-you guys were ahmazing at this event! Thanks Allstate for supporting us!

This activity has opened my eyes to what I'll be facing in a few months. I know that teens really are distracted, and we all need to work on that. I'm sure that we'll all be watching ourselves that much closer. Cougar Pride!
