Utah Jazz: Players' intros to get louder, darker

Being at the scrimmage, the upper bowl will be darker than it used too, but you'll still be able to see. Also, the new sound system made it easier to understand the spoken word.

Now, if we can get them to work on music selection....

With the fancy intros Jazz players will finally feel like they are playing in a real game!

Lights!! Smits!! Gimme a break! I want a spotlight on the player that:
Causes a turnover
Makes all his free throws
Blocks a shot
Steals the ball
Is a team player
Shows respect to the National Anthem
Stops complaining about officiating
Makes a quadruple double

In other words, contributes to a win.

Seriously, who cares if the Jazz's intros are darker and louder? Wake me up when the Jazz's defense is tougher and better.

It's about time we made the transition. my heck it's 15 years too late already.

hopefully the big intro's will be a signal that Boozer will recognize as the beginning of a game and he'll actually play some defense, anything would help I suppose.

Oposing fans and teams coming in with the presumption of the enviornment they will find in Utah / based on its majority religion/ May be suprised by the choice selection of words used by sloan. In my own experiance Jerry alone can get half the lower bowl riled up when he gets excited. Heres to another hostile season at the ESA! GO JAZZ!!!!!!!

Anything but copying the Bulls intro....I always thought that was sooooo sad to use the same music. Maybe some good 'ol New Orleans Jazz which morphs into some pounding itimidating hip hop?

Its awesome what the Jazz are doing. I remember when the Utah Starzz, the WNBA team was here, they had fireworks for their intros. I always wondered why the Jazz didn't do something like that. It'll definitely be fun

BTW the way we need the lights, that would be awesome! give the live fan something to look forward to , when we attend games. We need more pyro and fire!! yea more more more!! and btw I love that sloan get's on the ref, I'm going to miss him when he gone, nobody does a war dance like jerry!!

It's seems a little silly to make a big deal when adding the darkened introductions when the Phoenix Suns have been doing it for at least 15 years, I'm sure they weren't the first. It would be better just to add it very quietly avoiding the embarassment of being the last on the block. I have to say I do like the jet black arena, then the thunderous music followed by a flaming basketball flying around the building, prior to the players being introduced. It's nice theatre.
