Our former neighbors had a pit bull, that never caused any problems. They kept it locked in their back yard, just like the ordinance requires, until one day while I was standing in my driveway it pushed through the gate and came at me, clamping down on my foot. Fortunately my boot was think enough to prevent a bite, but I was scared, not just for me but also for my young children in the driveway with me.
Wake up people. These dogs are dangerous and there is no way to keep them away from the public all the time.
So why in the world should they be allowed in Sandy where our children can be attacked.
You don't allow little bottle rockets just because they "might" cause a fire and "might" destroy some property, but you will allow vicious animals that can maul a child in seconds, either killing her or leaving her scarred for the rest of her life.
What will you tell that little girl?
"Sorry, we didn't know!"
Sorry. You did.
I dread to think what would happen if the dog got loose.
any dog can maul a child in seconds, wether its a vicous pit bull,a vicious greyhound, or even a placid pit bull, or a placid greyhounds. there IS a reason why people are told not to leave ANY dog with Any children for ANY amount of time, yet people still do it?
