I was discussing my distain for the servitude brought onto the kids by mindless parents following stupid rules that help no one but keep the children from progressing through life.
You think they are just fine. I think the children are being severly held back from reaching their potentials. Difference in opinion was never a reason for violence, at least for me anyway.
And if you TRULY believe these kids have the same ability to choose what they want to do when they grow up, then you are not thinking it through. Yes - the parents have a right to do as they are - never said they didn't.
Is it fair for the children? That's the question I've ben posing - and one you refuse to answer. You just keep saying the parents are allowed to do it.
How is a child to decide what they want to do with their lives when they don't have a clue what's out there? Even the Amish restrict reading within reason - they allow their children to learn all about everything. The FLDS don't - why is that?
The children of the flds are well adjusted according to Texas MHMR RC........the children were tested by CPS for education level RC..........the childrens academic achievement has been published RC.....they don't have to live up to any of your standards RC......only your children have to play by your rules RC.......geezzzzzzzzz ease off the personal attacks and get back to trying to raise other peoples children....
and "live up to my standards"? what standards?
and why do you just keep repeating educational info? If that's all you think this is about, then you are in fact missing the entire picture. I've said it so many times, that's hard for me to believe you've actually missed the entire point, but that's the impression I get..
You babbled incessently about the mis educated, undereducated, and uneducated kids RC......I presented EVIDENCE of educational achivement by GOVERNMENT agencies.
You ranted about no college for the poor darlings...I cited state certification for teachersas well as COLLEGE EDUCATED flds.
You take a flip comment about a gun battle and make people out to be something they are not,
The flds is accused of breaking the law but to you the law doesn't matter......then you go back to the poor Abused uneducated kids when we have already beaten the education issue to death and even CPS has 393 kids back with their parents with no court oversight.
The boy that cried Wolf......RC...ever hear of that fable?
Just in case you haven't noticed there are 393 non issues at home with their parents and the children are meeting state education requirements or else the state would step back in and break up the homeschool party.
So deal with your imaginary gun battle for a while......it's getting funny. Bang bang.
it speaks more about your tunnel-vision than it does about my discussions.
