The conservatives on this page that parrot Limbaugh with their mocking of
Obama's speech patterns are vile, small minded, fools. It is actually
rather funny to listen to Limbaugh, on his show, after making fun of Obama,
search and hem and huh and stutter looking for the right words himself.
Priceless really.

China, USSR, North Korea, and Cuba are not examples of socialism.
If you are opposed to big government then you are likely against our current president. Illegal wire tapping, detainment of individuals with out due process, manipulation of scientific reports, unwarranted attacks and occupations of another country, acquiring private enterprises like AIG, would be things that you would be against. You would also be against government defining marriage.

(whipped up and angry as you always are), try listening to a broad range of
opinions and ideas and guaranteed you'll learn something. The fact that
you still cling to the human fiasco called President Bush while stubbornly
sitting in the middle of all the crap that he's left our country in is a
testament to something and it's not good. Rush Limbaugh could use that
brain of his to others benefit instead he manipulates and you followers let him.

Obama sounds like Porky Pig when he has speak without a teleprompter. McCain
whipped him and the only reason Obama has a claim to victory is because of the
MSM who come out and defend him and spin his performance like it was actually
good. Reading through these posts and listening to so called experts on the
news, the only reason Obama won is because he looks and sounds
"presedential" lol. I guess stuttering like Bush makes him sound
Presedential.

Anyone who has watched McCain over the years knows he is anything but another Bush. McCain gave examples of his accomplishments and well Obama just kept talking about Bush.

at least he looked at the other people. McCain couldn't even look in the
face of anyone....just kept saying you don't understand. McCain looked and
acted like the bully he is. Plus, he had no solid answers, just...you don't
understand. Though CNN and viewers felt that Obama was the clear winner I
don't really see it. However, McCain did not win anything. In fact, as the
year has gone on, he's lost even my respect.

I am quite tired of the DEms refering to "classes". You want to know
why Mc Cain didn't refer to a Middle Class? It's because he
doesn't believe in a "Class" society. The "Classes" are
a product of the Lenin/Marx writings.....the working class, the upper class, the
class for this, the class for that....STOP IT. Stop trying to make this a class
society. Are we not all Americans? What are you trying to do, turn this into a
caste system? Heaven forbid!!

....why or how anyone with a functioning brain and a love for the U.S.
Constitution would ever waste valuable oxygen trying to defend either of the two
bozos I watched in the debate. Any politician who cannot see the absolute
indecency and irresponsibility of the proposed bailout (or any government
bailout, for that matter) should be sent home immediately and chained to their
desk with a copy of the Constitution and a copy of Washington's Farewell
Address and they should handcopy them down twenty times each, and memorize both
verbatim, before they are allowed to hold public office of any level.
Is either of these guys really worth all the defending they receive? Are they?
Everyone write in your favorite independent or third party candidate, PLEASE!!!!!!! No, he or she won't win this next election, but if enough people buck the trend to vote D or R it should create sufficient stir to give other folks a genuine shot four years down the road. Right now it isn't so important to get a win for the underdog as much as it is to show that we want them to get equal publicity and airtime next go-around.

Independents and undecideds like I am overwhelmingly thought Obama was more
presidential. Who cares what all the Utah-menions think -- it's all those
previously uncommitted that matter. Obama did much better among them, and is
moving well ahead of McBush.

The US elects a new President every four years. We use a two party system.
Regardless of personal opinions about the candidates, the process has presented
us with two men to choose from, one of which will be the next President. Our
purpose in our election system should be to make the best of what we have. The
time to rant and rave, make wild accusations, etc., is past. Now it is time to
make a choice. If Obama is elected, the majority of the people agree with
liberal principles. If McCain wins, the message is that liberal principles are
not wanted BY THE MAJORITY. Neither man will control the US or the world by
himself. Obama reminds me of Jimmy Carter; a good man with good intentions (I
hope), but naiive about how things work. McCain is also a good man, a human with
faults but trying to move us in a conservative direction. He really is a
maverick. He is NOT Bush. I don't believe all the negativism which shows up
here every day will bring about anything good. And the complaints about how the
campaigns attack the opponent-that is done by both sides!

I have a right to a different opinion than you on abortion, gay marriage, gun control, foreign policy, welfare, taxes, drug policy, crime and punishment, etc.
Your "in your face" approach only hardens me in my beliefs and opinions.
I pay far more than my fair share of taxes. Believe it or not, I feel I have a right to be represented.
In closing, if you can name me just ONE example where socialism or communism has EVER worked, I will hear you out. Or, at least answer the question, "if the left is so great, why is it always forced on the people against their will?" (examples: USSR, Cuba, China, N. Korea, etc)???
