USC and BYU will be the only 2 undefeated teams in college football. BYU will win the BCS championship, thus adding another National Championship to its other won in 1984. BTW...I did check the record books and sure enough there it is. 1984-BYU...imagine that!

I remember that Utah State beat Utah on Thanksgiving Day in 1946. I was a cheerleader for Utah State. That was the day I met my wife. Hooray!!! We were married in 1950 and have had more than 58 wonderful years together. Who cares who won the game!!!

If you look silly in the current situation, talk about the past. That goes for Y and U fans. I couldn't give a rip if one team is AA for BB historically. So, my grandpa could play checkers better than your grandpa. Live in the present.

"26 bowls to 13. O.K. And how about the respective records in those bowls:

BYU is 8-15-1. How embarrasing. Utah is 9-4. So why don't you mention bowl records & wins?"

BYU doesn't have a great winning percentage in their bowls, but the Cougars have also played MUCH better competition in most of their bowls than have the Utes.

Since Utah has only won one more bowl game than BYU, 8 wins to 9 wins, what you're really suggesting is that NOT PLAYING in a bowl game is better than playing a bowl game and losing.

Utah should have stopped going to bowl games after their 1964 Liberty Bowl victory. At that point, the Utes were 2-0 (100%), which obviously, in your opinion, is far superior to the bowl records of every big name school that has ever played in a bowl game.

Most fans would consider playing in a bowl game, win or lose, is FAR superior to not playing in a bowl game.

That last sentence was only criticizing your argument. Nice spin, though. Season-by-season analysis is the way to go and I think I made that perfectly clear.

At least I am not trying to shrink away from my previous arguments. You're trying to convince me you're a different poster than "re: re: so who cares's's's" and the original "so who cares." Sorry, but immaturity is always detectable. References to "Utards," "stupid" and asking people to read your post "very slowly" are obvious indicators of one classless BYU fan trying to stir the pot; and that's you.

Congrats, it worked. You've accomplished one of your many worthy goals for the year. As for the past two years. I'll stand by what I said. If BYU doesn't go undefeated and loses to Utah, BYU fans will consider the season a failure, rendering the past two years irrelevant.

Don't play in the mud with the little zoobs... it's not worth it, all you get is dirty.

they only see things through their blue colored glasses and even if you try to use logic with them they can not follow it. So I say just ignore them.

To the zoobs who are going to respond to this don't bother because I am not coming back to read anything else on this blog.

"BYU has played MUCH better competition" is not accurate. Don't comment on someone's ignorance and be ignorant yourself. Get your stats/facts straight before commenting. BYU has won 9 bowl games, not 8. In addition, BYU has lost 16, not 15. Neither one of you show credibility.

Breaking down the "MUCH better competion" victories for both schools (schools that are BCS schools, therefore "MUCH better competition" in your opinion?) is as follows:

BYU
Washingington St., Missouri, Michigan, Colorado, Iowa(tie), Oklahoma, Kansas St., Oregon, UCLA. 8 wins and one tie.

UTAH
West Virginia, Arizona, USC, Pittsburgh, Ga. Tech. Five wins.

If you go back 11 years (I want to include the 1997 BYU team--GREATEST BYU team ever?) BYU has only beaten three BCS schools while losing to three Non-BCS schools (Louisville was in C-USA at the time) and one BCS school (Cal).

Utah, on the other hand, has also beaten three BCS schools in that time span. Utah was arguabley robbed the chance to play a MAJOR school in 2004. During the same span as BYU, Utah has not lost a bowl game to anyone, be it BCS or Non-BCS.

Point being. If you go to a bowl...REPRESENT!!!! Go Utah/BYU!!!

I liked the fact that he needed to point out the Y(ne)'s two perfect conference championships twice in his list. Not such a great list if you need to repeat accomplishments to extend it.
RE: Selective Boasting | 7:22 p.m. Sept. 18, 2008
Yes the Cotton Bowl was a major bowl at the time. BYU 1-0

23-24 is not very impressive of the combined record of the BcS team you played in 2004...

Don't you get it...it was all about urban during that year not u.

The guy is a media darling, face if he never came to utah, utah would not get the props as they get now in the media.
