High school football: Northridge star a 'goofball' with killer instinct

Will be fun watching Washington & Williams go against each other. Karl Williams will run thru and over the Northridge D.

Please don't make silly statements. There is no way your "stellar defense" will be able to stop the knights passing attack. I cant wait to see northridge with everyone back healthy, they haven't played a full game with every starter. I hope Lavaughn is back too for the nridge vs layton game so layton doesnt have any excuses when they lose

Who made a silly statement? I said it'll be fun watching Williams and Washington battle each other and I said Karl Williams will run thru and over the N Defense. Not sure who said stellar D, but if it gets your goat up, then I'll say it. Layton has a stellar D. BUt Layton's O is better this year, especially with Jackson back. I don't expect Jackson to be 100% when he's back. You talk injuries. Layton has been affected too, losing as mentioned their top RB, possibly their top D player in Ciacone, and 1 of their top lineman, Octavius Dickerson.

Chris Washington is a stud straight up. I hope Nridge walks all over Layton!

Junior Cole is the best quarterback in the state. Top in pass yeards and high up there in rushing yards like for this kid to play at the next level.

both teams are very impressive.. i honestly think that the nridge vs layton game will be the game of the year in terms of the regular season. both teams should have only one loss going into the big game. Karl is a great player but im not sure if he will run all over the defense. Northridge does have a great passing attack and should be healthy by the game. i hope Layton is also fully healthy so that the game will be played at 100% by both teams. how long is their lineman out for? and will he be back for the game? it will be an interesting game as most of these kids have grown up playing football together and will now be playing against each other for the last time in high school.

I heard Octavius is out for the year....being a Jr has another year. Played varsity as a sophy. Depth is at best sketchy for this team, as there's a lot of seniors starting. Just a couple juniors starting right now. Karl Williams went for 170 yards on only 20 carries last week vs Fremont, but that was Fremont. He's gone for 100+ I think for 3 straight now. Only the 1st he didn't, and it was because he only played 1 1/2 quarters (went in for the injured LaVaughn Jackson)

Yes, will be fun to see these teams play. One of the best rivalries in the state.
