According to current data, both the Provo/Orem MSA and the St. George MSA have
lost jobs over the past 12 months. . .

hey new data guy, who hasn't. SLC, Denver, all have seen a jump in the
unemployment rate, infact it's nationwide. Find me a place in which the
unemployment rate hasn't dropped. It sure won't be in Utah. As a MSA
you can still have many new hires while county wide layoff continues. This
report only takes into account the data provided by companies that are hiring.
