Utah D-Line | 2:22 p.m. Sept. 10, 2008
Someone touched on this earlier about moving D-lineman to the O-line or TE. I couldnt agree more. The year the majaority of these lineman came out Utah had the 4th best defensive line recruting class in the country. They have all been good but they have moved a couple over to offense and now are scrambling. Maybe for playing time? Not sure, but it'd be nice to have them all right now. Joey Fafili was the main reason for the high ranking, too bad he never got his stuff together. Id of loved to have seen what he could do. Last I heard he was at a JC in AZ.

You take one's sarcasm/joke as one being offended?

Lighten up. I find nothing inappropriate about labeling a team "that team down South." If you're offended by such a label then you're just being ultra sensitive.

The Utah depth chart is short on Defense, but the coaching staff is very good in working with the strengths of their players. I'm not too afraid now with these injuries, but one more season ending injury on the D-line could really cause us to give up a lot of yardage, 3rd downs, etc. As long as Newman's in the middle and we have Misi and Krueger on the ends, we should be OK.
Now that the Defense is hurting, we really need to have the offense step up and make some long sustained drives in the next few games that help keep the D rested and off the field for significant periods of time. I hope Mack and Asiata can step it up to the next level to help the Offense do this, and maybe that's also part of the reason why they aren't considering moving any O-line to the D.
Good luck to the Utes and please don't overlook USU the same way Ohio State overlooked Ohio.
