UDOT to seek more bicycle-friendly roads
1 comment | Read story
What question? | 4:19 a.m. Sept. 7, 2008
The story says UDOT is questioning whether the state's roads are adequately
serving cyclists. There is no question. Northern Utah is a hostile place for
bicycles. I'd ride a lot more if I had the assurance that drivers
wouldn't use a bike lane to pass or park, and if there would be enforcement
against those who cross into the bike lane and crowd us. Bikers welcome a chance
to share the road and ask for cars to do likewise. But give us the lanes.
