I think this memorial is a great idea. I've visited the Vietnam Memorial
also on the west side of the Capitol grounds and have felt it's strength
and value oft. Both are meaningful ways to honor those who have served country
and community so valiantly. All I can say is thank you....

My wife's great grandfather was killed in the line of duty. She went to
the capitol building earlier this week as her grandfather placed his
father's plaque in the wall. This is a wonderful tribute to those who have
lost loved ones to thoughtless acts of crime.
