No, Sarah Palin does not scare us to death, YOU scare us to death ... Without your uneducated, shallow ways of thinking, there would be no Sarah Palins, no George W. Bushes ... You follow without thinking, you back the wrong candidates because you have let your sheepherders convince you that wrong is right and right is wrong ... You are weakening this country and I wish you'd wake up.

What the h*&k does being pregnant for 9 months have to do with being qualified? Any woman can understand it would have only a positive relevancy, a man would have no clue.

What always amazes me is that every time some one has a different opinion than the demos/libs about ANYTHING, they are said to be "following without thinking". I have thought, and there is NO WAY that I would ever vote for a candidate with such limited experience as Obama. Biden doesn't add anything to the ticket.
At least Sarah Palin has had, not only, her community organization (PTA, city council), governing experience but also she is a mother. She has "brought home the bacon and fried it up in a pan".

Good choice, John.

You know what amazes me is that every time someone who has an opinion different than the democratsabout ANYTHINGthey claim to NOT be following without thinking.

I have read these expressions of supposedly free-thinking individuals here in these comments and there is NO WAY that I can be convinced. They claim independent thought and then parrot Republican talking points. These are people of independent thought who will determine that ANYBODY is better than a Democrat running for office

Case in point: Obama has such little experience and, Biden doesnt add anything to the ticket. Yeah, you came up with that on your own.

Well, there is NO WAY that I will EVER vote for a candidate who is so vastly over-experienced in nothing having to do with being president than John McCain. And to suggest that Palin has more experience than Senator Obama is sheer lunacy (and also a Republican talking point).

You are free to vote for whomever you choose, but please make your case.
Thank you 10:28 | 2:00 a.m. Sept. 9, 2008
I was just about to sit down and write essentially the same letter you did ... I was even going to mention the mystery of how the same conservative talk show "talking points" keep cropping up in the posts of all these allegedly original thinkers ... And I certainly agree, we all have the right to vote for anybody ... But Obama with "no experience?" ... He's got plenty, but it's the kind these guys won't acknowledge ... Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Law? "No, that's not worth anything, he's just an empty suit" ... Palin, on the other hand, went to 5 or 6 schools of little note before finally graduating ... "Oh, wow, what an amazing lady!" ... And finally, please show me a recent president who made great use of his "executive experience" ... Junior Bush? NO!!!!!!!!! ... Clinton? Could have done better ... Bush Sr.? Sigh, perhaps a bit ... Reagan? Well, maybe, though his personality was key ... Carter? Another sigh ... The ability and wisdom to deal with the unexpected and to make difficult decisions is what's needed ... Let's see, Lincoln? ... No, wait, no real executive experience ... SIGH!

I respect John McCain as a politician and as a war hero; I like and respect Sarah Palin for being authentic and being a breath of fresh air. I like'em! I'm gonna vote for them. Here's a cookie!

"...4 in 10? really? That should give rational people nightmares..."

Everyone is rational, if they do ask themselves.

I am loving this election. The same party who impeached Clinton for infidelity is supporting a man who stepped out on his disabled wife, and finally left her for a woman with money.

The same party that preaches family values has a Hilary clone that can't take the time to teach her child sex education.

People who like to fish and politicians are both known for telling woopers and she is both. As for her anything she might have done which might appear to be not quite on the up and up we should probably check it off to inexperence and not knowing any better.
Sorry, Jim, but no | 11:14 a.m. Sept. 10, 2008
Sarah Palin is calculating, vicious, and above all, ambitious ... She's an expert in petty Alaskan politics who can't believe her good fortune of being thrust onto the national stage ... She knows she's lying when she lies ... she and her Republican handlers just know that many people will believe them, no matter what they say ... and a vote from a fooled person counts just as much as any ... You're right about one thing, this whole thing does smell like fish.
