I am not a lib, but feel that Sarah Palin would do more to serve her country by
staying home and raising her young children. She would be more of a role model

Must be a wrenching time for Huntsman, who for the last four years purposefully
forsook his conservative political roots turned into a moderate to
moderate/liberal in hopes it would propel him into national politics. It must
be gut wrenching for Huntsman to now watch Sarah Palin get rewarded with
national political prominence for doing what Huntsman lacked the courage and
conviction to do: stick to conservative ideals as governor and not waffle into
a semi-moderate/liberal in hopes it will help propel you to higher national
levels.

Governor Palin did a good job in addressing her convention friends. It was clear
that she's struck a nerve with a lot of conservative voters who were eager
to cheer and support her. Her speech validated for me, a lifelong independent,
that the Republican Party is not the place for me. She embraced the attack dog
role too zealously and her sarcasm and mockery of Americans unlike her (why
attack community organizers?) revealed a temperament that I find untrustworthy.
Obama and Biden get my vote and I'm joining the Democratic Party. For me,
it's time to get further away from Rove politics and work with a party that
represents a broader, more balanced representation of America. God bless
America!

guarantee that it will not happen. Remember you will also have grandchildren
and until you have no liability you should not throw stones. You will be the

I was saddened to arrive at my office today (90% women) and hear everyone
ripping Gov Palin to shreds. BTW, I live outside of Utah. Did they hear the
same speech I heard? Or are they so past feeling and brainwashed that they
won't even consider their options?
All I heard today was a critique of how she dressed and sounded and what a witch she was. When pushed for a better reason not to vote for McCain/Palin, I heard 1) because the Republicans have got us in a huge deficit and 2) Palin doesn't have any experience.

Also, the folks w/the "D" behind their names have been running congress the past two years. speech writers did a wonderful job, they got it pretty well right! And her
experience as a sports presenter really paid off because she used the prompters

Governor Palin is very charismatic and engaging, but she spoke almost nothing
about any issues last night. All she did was speak about her biography (which is
unique and interesting), and attack Senator Obama. She didn't even really
attack him on issues, she just sarcastically mocked him, his work as a community
organizer, his popularity, his stage at the DNC (what does that have to do with
anything?). Obama and Biden's responses today were both very professional
and presidential (and took the high road). The entire RNC convention has been

plans to fix the mess the last 8 years have put our country in.

The teleprompter did not significantly malfunction ... that is just a
fabrication of the conservative sewage machine trying to make the governor look
better than she is ... the fact that the teleprompter worked has been confirmed
by convention planners as well as by several reporters who were reading along

the isle who will work to make America strong, claiming that we are leaders in
the free world. He knows how to lead and we are lucky to have him. He can use
his experience in Washington to limit big government, lower taxes, and find
other alternatives for energy. Lets work together to make a better America.

I am LDS. I am a center-right conservative. My party left me. I don't agree that Abortion should be illegal. I think they should not happen, but free agency is a bugger. I don't agree with gay marriage. Civil unions, I might be able to deal with, but not marriage. Civil rights for Gays? You betcha. I want drilling and lower gas prices, I want a healthcare saftety net so the emergency rooms are not filled up with those that can only go there for primary care. I want lower taxes and more accountablity in government. I don't want a rockstar for a president. But I don't want a hotshot who shoots from the hip either. I want families to be together forever, I don't care for divorce, although I am on my second (and last) marriage. Let's just say he had the Elton John syndrome. I want freedom of worship, and not be called a cult member because of my faith. I want to raise my kids in a safe place.

I want lower taxes and more accountablity in government. I don't want a rockstar for a president. But I don't want a hotshot who shoots from the hip either. I want families to be together forever, I don't care for divorce, although I am on my second (and last) marriage. Let's just say he had the Elton John syndrome. I want freedom of worship, and not be called a cult member because of my faith. I want to raise my kids in a safe place.
Which party am I? neither. But more likely, DNC.

I'm a liberal for Palin. Palin means no Mitt :-) No matter how bad things
get, there will me no Mitt. That's wonderful.
