Sevier Resident | 12:09 p.m. Sept. 1, 2008
A "planned unit development" has only been used for condos inside residential areas.

This is 400 foot tall smokestacks issuing thousands of tons of smog inside a multi-acre compound filled with several football fields of coal.

Notice any difference?

Regardless, the area's ordinances state that any PUD structure over 35 feet tall requires a "conditional use permit" anyway. Oopsie.

Bet the Sevier County officials -- Ralph Okerlund, Gary Mason, Dale Eyre, and Malcolm Nash -- will continue to ignore the rule of law, as they are now. And the Utah Attorney General will continue to turn a blind eye.
