FLDS members sue trust manager

It is kind of hard for Wisan to seem believable when the majority of his "advisory board" is made up of ex-flds.
The fox is in the henhouse with wolves telling him what to do.

About time the FLDS got in the game. Too little, too late, but maybe they now realize their fairy tale world ruled by Prophet Pedophile isn't very comfy.

I keep reading about how many people that were in controll of the church funds, misused or had a bad effect on the church funds. Know it sounds like everyone outside the FLDS is money hungry. The people of the FLDS can't go back and refix the mistakes of someone elses mistakes.Why wasn't this stuff caught when jeffs was in charge of church funds? Since he is in prison, everyone is coming forward wanting tons of money.Sure, the solution is making sure the church is broke and the flds land is sold because of mishaps. I say that the church ground should be turned into a reserve, like an indian reserve. People that are part of the FLDS can't actually own the land, but can live there and have more than one person in charge of church funds. Selling land and breaking the church won't fix the problem that thousands of people live on church land and use it everyday for living.I feel bad for the judge that has to fix this problem with the church funds, that seems to be a problem for years.

Hello. There was no problem until the government decided to insert itself into the process. Now land that is being used to FEED people is having to be sold to pay Wisan's fees!

I read the PDF. That's a pretty damning complaint by Rod Parker. Not sure how Wisan's lawyers will be able to respond, since Parker caught them contradicting themselves in deceiving the court in obtaining that default judgment. Granting relief to the FLDS may be a way out of this mess for Judge Lindberg.

Joey, let's put the blame where it should be. This whole mess began because guys like Warren Jeffs and Merril Jessop were using the FLDS monies like it was their personal ATM account.

A few questions for you:

Since Warren Jeffs hasn't held a legitimate job in years, how did he pay for the escalade he got caught in?????

How did he support his lavish lifestyle?

Just a note - Judge Lindberg and Wisan claim Jeffs was mismanaging the funds of the UEP trust by selling off its assets to pocket the $$. Well take a look at the Western Precision building. That building has got to be worth 2 or 3 times more than the $1.6mil Wisan auctioned it off for. Wisan and the Judge didn't seem to mind that. I understand Western Precision was the community's largest employer and used more power than any other business in the UEP which was a great boost to Hildale's suffering power company. It's no wonder the FLDS don't want to cooperate with Wisan. Set religion aside - Wisan is robbing the FLDS every way he can. The FLDS probably feel they have turned the other cheek long enough.

J-man. Tithes and offerings. The UEP trust was strictly a real estate holding trust. Any real estate sales have already been described in the attached PDF (see upper right).

Rod Parker just wants his cut. If lawyers are going to be involved, he doesn't want to be left out...

and Joey - the FLDS followers gave all this away. Perhaps you can tell your friends that, next time, if they want to keep something, then DON'T GIVE IT AWAY. Most people with any common sense know that if you give something away, IT'S NO LONGER YOURS. If I put money into a church basket, you really think I can go back later and say "oh - wait - my bad - can I have that back?"? Next time tell them not to give it away if they want to keep it .

and the land that you say is "being used to feed people" is in fact a dry wasteland. The irrigation broke several years ago and since Jeffs had all their money while on the run, they couldn't fix it. It's pretty much a useless now.

doesn't really matter. These people GAVE AWAY THEIR MONEY AND LAND. Hopefully they won't give away things they want next time. Now if their family was more important than their church, then they wouldn't have given it away. No common sense.

Joey, I know exactly what the UEP was intended for, but that's not how it was being used. Uncle Warren and others shamelessly exploited that trust. And don't believe everything you read from Rod Parker.

BTW, do you think the "J" in J-man stand for Jessop, Jeffs, or Jackson?
