McCain chooses Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as running mate

This is just how stupid people have become. Looking at someones religion and not thinking about what an advantage that Romney would have been. If the anti-mormons have pushed out Romney and have a choice now of Obama/Biden or McCain/Palin and think that thoes choices are more suitable and they are even more stupid that I thought. The mess that Obamam/Biden will get us in is far worse than Romney's influence, but some people have to learn the hard way. I have never heard such hate over religion before. Mormons have supported all religions elected to the US Presidency, but it just goes to show how narrow minded people really are. You ARE going to get what you've asked for and the rest of us are going to suffer with you. I hope you will learn something but that is unlikely. Spread a little more hate if you can, becuase it really does make a lot of sense HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

"We had no problem electing Reagan or Clinton AS PRESIDENT."
Speak for yourself. I had all kinds of problems with Reagan. As for Clinton: Before becoming governer of Arkansas, he got a degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown, then got a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford to study government.
Palin got a bachelors degree in journalism. In Idaho.
You really wanna continue with this comparison?
Like John McCain, I have been treated for malignant melanoma, one of the most deadly and relapsing forms of cancer. He is 72 years old (I'm 67).
McCain's choice for VP is more likely to become Prez than Obama's choice for VP, that's just basic actuarial life-insurance probability. Yet McCain chose totally unprepared Sarah Palin over more qualified Mitt Romney, and even over very qualified Republican women like Condaleza Rice.
This tells me John McCain is in the hope/denial phase after cancer treatment: the hope part is terrific, keeps you going, but the denial part is very real and can lead to reckless decisions that are just too risky for America.
I'm thinking Obama might be the safer choice this year.
If you are concerned about McCain then vote for Obamanation, and see where this country gets led to. That is exactly what Obama is hoping for that enough people will be scared and vote for him. He is scary with his views and wants change, but who knows what the changes will be and how they will be financed or put into place. That sounds real safe as well. Don't you think?
Now John McCain has selected a Sarah Palin as his vice presidential running mate.
Neither makes a case for Sen. McCain having good judgment.
His dad was the executive of a company, sales manager of an auto dealership, co-owner of an airport, etc.
And, Biden himself attended an elite private school for high school.
Seems the poor upbringing stuff was another story by Biden to mislead folks. Surprise.
I think she really knows what she's doing!
Add to that, USA Today's opinion is based on a poll of a some self-selected group of "presidential historians." There's another!
Face it -- any assertion that USA Today could assemble a group of real presidential historians, when they so seldom get any news right, is highly suspect. Further, real historians would be honest enough to tell you that history hasn't been written, yet, and can't be until the passage of time makes it possible to be more objective.
Anything written now is hype, one way or the other.
The "mainstream" media has been in the tank for Obama since day one. That's probably why USA Today editors have trouble seeing that to decry Sarah Palin's qualifications to observe in the bullpen, all the while hoping that no one notices that they greatly exceed those of the Demcocrat front man, is to foolishly walk on pretty thin ice. That, and the fact they believe we're ALL idiots.
Well, at least they got that partlially correct.

And Obama, when the crisis happens, instead of sitting at the white house desk, will be huddling under it totally clueless.
