Less than 70 days to for people to get to know Sarah. It doesn't matter
how good she is. John McCain just gave away the election. I'd be amazed
if the election is even close. This will be the worst blow out ever.

McCain's next move is to go home and retire. I would hope Palin would do a
good job, but can the U.S. have Palin, Hillary and Pelosi in Washington, is
there more? Going to just be a big Cat fight.

That McCain is one smart dude. I will gurantee that the majority of these blogs
that slam Palin have NO idea who she is. Knowledge is power and many Obama fans

I agree with the postings of Kathryn and Demublican in CA. I wasn't going
to vote for McCain until I read his selection of running mate this morning ---
here is someone not entrenched in same ol', same ol' Washington
politics, and some one who resonnates with the American people. A
family-centered, value-driven, accomplished woman! One who personally made an
anti-abortion choice after she learned her own son would be born with Down
syndrome! She has my support and my utmost respect. My best to you, Gov.
Palin!!!

she's one bullet away from the big office? I guess you think Biden should
be there. He's volatile, emotional, and hot headed. This girl can handle

party. Can't wait to see her and Joe loser in a debate. She is going to

I'm a Utah native living on the Left Coast. I have family who are LDS. I
don't hate them. I really dislike Mitt. The DN is a great source of humor.
You never read about who belongs to what church here. Fifty-four percent of use
have no problem with gay marriage. We have it now. I see the sky.
Is fascinates me. It's like the GOP is your enabler that always ends up rejecting you. Reid as never been rejected or denied a position because he is Mormon. No liberal knocked his testimony in his book. You hate democrats.
The GOP cast Utah republicans crumbs. You're right. You are a curious people. I never noticed this living in Utah. Then, you told people you where in the Seventh Ward and people knew where you lived. Here, I've heard about cults, not being a biblical Christian and others things. So, I've come to expect Mormons are suspect to many Christian fundamentalist in control of the GOP. Man I did not see that coming. But, if you think about it, I believe that this
is a great choice. She brings a lot to the table, and yes I know she is an
unknown but if you research what she has done for Alaska you can see why this is
a great pick. I think that this pick is very refreshing. I liked Mitt but I
think that she is a better pick.

Gov. Palin has one year on the job running a state with a population less than
that of Salt Lake County. (Good to lock up those three electoral votes, though.
Who knew Alaska was a swing state?)

I am a Mormon and was hoping for Mitt, but couldn't be more excited about
Palin as McCains pick. The more I learn about her integrity and her ability and
courage to stand up against the powers who take advantage of the people she
serves does my heart good. Go McCain and Palin ...you have my vote.

I watched Palin's speech today, and she is great. Unlike the other
politicians who claim to fight for the blue collar workers, she LIVES in a blue
collar family. Unlike the other politicians who talk and talk, she has achieved
results. She is a leader in government, not 'just' a representative
in government. Living her principles. Refreshing! NOW I'm excited to
vote for McCain.

Sarah is an excellent choice. She is a no nonsense leader. She unseated the
Governor who appointed his own daughter to his Senate seat. She does without a
driver and a chef as Governor. Watch for big things to happen.

This entries are almost comical! If you truly believe Romney would have a
chance at VP, then you need to expand your horizons. Face it, majority of
Americans are not Mormon, and will not vote for a mormon. As for Palin, she is
going to be great! Why? Because she can go to Washington without any strings
attached. She hasn't been entrenched in the politics of DC, and can go to
DC with a commanding title of VP. Now that is CHANGE! If you think you are so
smart to judge someone's experience to hold a public office, then run for
an office yourself! Truth is, most of you that comment in here don't have
the slightest idea how to lead. So give her a chance to prove. It's only

President controls the economic success or failure of our country? Check

business second...global economy impact third. Clinton did squat. What
economic move did he make all by himself (other than bring up the value of
cigars) that you can state was of his own making? I don't give Reagan
credit either, except for knocking the walls in Europe down, and scaring Russia

No Obama, Keep The Change. I am going down to Ala Moana Mall and have a Tee
Shirt made, Most likely Today. I have Goggled Her and the Choice is so far so
good. My youngest daughter says it is absolutely brilliant. I think it will
shake the trees and what falls out, falls out. Obama is a first term senator and
has little more experience the she does, and he wants to be president. She at
least has the Experience of being a Mayor before being a Governor. She seems to
be a Peoples Choice person as her Party did not support her in her Election Bid
for Gov. Appears to be Pro Life, but can walk in both worlds. Being her last
Baby was born in April, I don't think her and her husband live separate
lives. Things are a little different in Alaska then down here. I am glad I did
not make commits about her being dumpy, she just had a child at 44
that�s rough, and she did appear in Vogue. At least the
Repubs will have experience at the Top of the Ticket not the Bottom of the

I know there are people who want us to do a Hillary Clinton Surrender and give
the Election to Obama, and his Pro Partial Birth Abortion cronies. However that
is not happening. Now I have a Horse in the Race and I can support McCain and
America can be still be saved from the Obamanation. The Woman just had a baby
and her oldest son in in the United States Army. I feel much better then
yesterday and we now have a fight. Win or Lose we now at least have a fighting

Despite what you may think, very little of what goes on has anything to do with
Utah. Like Hawaii, at the end of the day it does not really matter what we think
or do. Obama is not even coming to Utah and is not going to meet with President
Monson, we might be in for a rough 4 or heaven forbid 8 years. I am looking for
a move to change Term Limits at least for President, starting on day one.
The only reason I know anything about this Women is because Glenn Beck has mentioned her, several times. What I am mostly interested in is her stand on Abortion, if she is Pro Life, then I finally have someone I can support in this race. I can't vote for McCain but if she is alright then I will be able to.

Like most people on this site, I don't know much about Palin. But I do like
what I've heard, and I'm eager for the chance to learn more. I'm
a moderate independent, and I don't believe in voting for parties, but
candidates. So I'm looking forward to watching the debates, and I
don't think that anybody should be dismissing any candidate yet, before
we've seen them in action. But I already like Palin better than Biden. Her
record shows that while she's new, she's grounded, and her ideals are
much more in line with mine than Biden's are, that's for sure.

Bush administration's listing was an act of submission in the face of
lawsuits from environmental activist groups. As usual with acts of submission,
this one didn�t satisfy the demanders.
They�ve gone back to court to sue because the listing
doesn�t include steps against global warming. Stop the
planet - this Republican wants to get off - I am tired of not getten any help,
beit from the VA, or elsewhere, when I am disabled and elderly and low end of
the middle class, they would rather help out a polar bear than a human being,
and I am fedup with that line of thinking. Obamacon is no different here either.

McCain was right, not picking Mitt. This is great news. No matter the outcome,
