Cool Idea | 12:53 a.m. Aug. 25, 2008
It's always nice to see someone with an idea actually go through with it instead of just thinking about it all of the time. Congratulations and good luck with the whole venture. I hope it is extremely successful for you.

Wow-what a pretty mom. And the company won't find a prettier model to sell them with either.

Wouldn't it be better..... | 8:12 a.m. Aug. 25, 2008
...to train yourselves to PUT THE CAP BACK ON the marker, after you use it?

Now, you have to train yourselves to PUT THE MARKER BACK INTO THE SPECIAL HOLDER after you use it.

The problem isn't that the markers dry out because they don't have a special holder, it's that the markers dry out because no one takes enough time to put the lid on. It doesn't matter if the lid is attached to a special holder or not.

Then, you have to buy several of these so that they are in convenient locations all over the house -- and then invent a way to have an assortment of markers in each holder.

Dear Inventor: think of me as a potential customer. I am who you are aiming your product at.

Produce the item where it can be done cheapest. That is the American way. It looks like an okay idea that will make some cash.

Didn't They... | 12:46 p.m. Aug. 25, 2008
...already solve this problem when they invented 'retractable' markers?

I would have to agree... | 3:23 p.m. Aug. 25, 2008
Unless I see more items manufactured here in America, I won't buy it.

Good luck. An interesting product. Just doesn't seem very convenient if you want to travel and so forth...you have to take the whole set with you.

I don't know...as there are nay sayers...there are many supporters...and the idea from up above that it is a great way to save the planet with less being thrown away...can't contradict that.

Again...good luck...I hope you are successful in your invention.

Thanks for the Comments | 4:15 p.m. Aug. 25, 2008
Thanks for the comments and suggestions. What I have found with the Cap Trappers is people appreciate most, not just keeping track of caps, but the convenience they provide.

Your markers are portable and organized.

You can throw them in your bag or drawer, without a big mess. These perks have even outweighed the lost caps for many of our customers.

I appreciate all the comments and suggestions!
