I was excited to see the race back in 2008 and I wasn't disappointed! I hope it continues to grow. The 300 Warriors part of the race was awesome and a great way to get the public involved.

I would have liked to have seen more coverage of Team Type 1 - which won the mountain jersey and had a rider finish third overall. They're a great story because of their mission to raise awareness for Type 1 diabetes. And they even had a diabetic rider competing in the race.
