What the county should be doing with all the homes that have ever been used as
meth labs is force the destrucion of the home and starting from scratch. If the
property owner does not destroy it within 3 months the land and property
confiscated by the county and do a complete demolish of the home then resell the
land as a residential lot. The county should be doing this because it is their
responsiblty having control of the health departments. These homes cannot be
rehabilitated and made livable at any remodiling attempt and should be destroyed
and placed in a hazardous land fill. The county should be held responsible and
liable for any property they condemn as meth houses. These houses cannot be
cleaned of the hazardous meth manufactuing processes and destruction is the only
safe and sure method of cleaning up. Buyers of these propertiess should have the
full disclosure and protection of any health hazards and the county should be
held responsible to insure this. Then to allow these properties to linger for
years with no efforts to remove the hazards should not be allowed.

It can be cleaned safely and completely. Forcing people to tear down houses
would be ridiculous. Not to mention unfair to innocent homeowners who rent
unknowingly to someone or to an elderly woman whose son is doing something
untoward in the garage.
