Trade AK | 4:04 a.m. Aug. 15, 2008
He has been sporadic and injured all too often. He's not improving, and he's not consistent enough to keep. Trade the guy while he still has some value--if he doesn't destroy what little remains of his career with his Olympic performance.

Whining about the refs? the floor? and the baskets?.Are they not professionals making more money in a week than most people in a year? ADAPT!

AK is untradable until his contract is comeing close to the end. HIs biggest trade value will be his expirering contract. It's too bad because he's a good player and the type that every team needs. Just not a max money player.

It's the money that has ruined him making him want to be something that he is not. An offenses option and go to guy he is not.

Having watched the game - Andrei played amazingly(outside of his free throw shooting) First. You we shouldn't trade AK this year. He is our best defensive player, and you don't give away your best defensive player(unless you are Denver). Second, To say he want to be a go to guy is just stupid. He an amazing passer and help defensive player. He shot %50 last season for the Jazz and he is improving with his outside shot. All he has said is that he wants to be part of the offensive.

I am so tired of people making excuses for AK

I personally like his game but you can't pay max money for what he brings.

When the Jazz start to lose free agents people will blame CJ's contract - but it is AK's that will hurt the most.....

And then AK will had better step it up cause it will be him, Dwill and a bunch of loosers !

I don't think a trade will be happening either and boozer will have no choice but to leave. So I would worry about keeping milsap korver and memo and then waiting until 2010 to draft boozers replace ment with the knicks pick.

Money hasn't ruined him ( atleast not anymore than any other player in the league).

Sloan has ruined him by play him and other players on the team out of position.

Thanks o great one.

Thirty years of nothing. The Jazz, as with most teams in the league have little chance of winning a championship. Yet the chatter continues. As least AK-47 provides the role of scape-goat. That's gotta be worth max-money.

Care to compare Boozer's Olympic stats against AK's? Boozer is good for 2 fouls in 5 minutes. Between his fouls and defense no wonder he does not get to play. Those that think he is worth the 12 million a year he gets now and what he will be looking for after he opts out next year deserve what they get. AK is not worth the money we pay him, but at least he has an all-around game. He does not just concentrate on scoring and rebounding like Boozer.

the article was totally misleading. sure AK missed some free throws, but he got to the line 19 times--which means he was being extremely aggressive. did any of you read his stats for the game? 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 steals, and 4 blocked shots. i guess most of you would rather have someone score 30 pts a game but only play on the offensive end of the court. i really hope AK gets traded now so all you whiners out there can see the jazz fall apart without Kirilenko. that would basically leave williams to guard five guys by himself.

That comment above, i agree with that. Hes all-round, he makes clever passes, hustles on defense. take him out who else we got for defence? no-one.
If AK did go, the Jazz wouldnt be any better for it, so stop complaing and wait for the Season to start.
GO JAZZ

I ditto the last two posts. AK is not your traditional max player, but from basketball utility stand point (comprehensive one) he is not a bust. I would argue that he is more valuable than the following max or near max NBA players: Starbury, AI, Jason Kidd, Jemaine O'Neal, Steve Francis, Ray Allen, Mike Bibby- all the guys making more than AK; Zach Randolph, Lamar Odom, Ben Wallace, etc. So, stop complaining folks!
