Demos launch attack on Romney

Good luck with all of that.
would be right up there as a Bush-Cheney Ticket
MITT ROMNEY WITH HIS BACKGROUND IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT WOULD BE THE IDEAL VP FOR JOHN McCAIN.
"I witnessed Mitt Romney turn around Taxachusetts in four years by lowering taxes and streamlining government. He is a man who will always do what he thinks is best for his country. His wife and family have always been first class. We should be so lucky to have him as vice president. He was a breath of fresh air for our state full of Democrat corruption..."
Veeps generally do very little by way of administration of government affairs. They make no laws (Congress's job). He's basically there to take over as pres, and to break a tie in the Senate, if needed.
Think about it. McCain hasn't even picked his VP candidate yet, and the mere possibility that it could be Romney has the dems launching a full scale pre-emptive assault on him.
There's only one reason for the urgency and vitriol of the dems' attacks on Romney, and that's fear.
the man to buy it.
If Obama Hussein wants to sell me anything, I know
it's snake oil and he can keep it.
Believe me, the Democratic party is losing no sleep whatsoever over Mitt Romney and what he does or doesn't do."
OK hotshot, so why then are the Dems attacking him specifically?
Yeah, I thought so...
You're joking, right?
Because if you're not joking you're suffering from an extremely acute case of selective memory.
Go look at the interview in which McCain's mother said she was suspicious of Mormons, etc and you will see that John McCain IMMEDIATELY (and I mean it was LITERALLY less than 2 seconds) interjected that his mother's opinions were not necessarily his own. His mother insulted a rather large block of mountain west Republicans and he distanced himself from her comments faster than a liberal would run out of Rush Limbaugh's studio!
How in the heck can you liberals ignore such realities or sleep at night?
It is my observation that mega-wealthy people like Mitt Romney live in their own little worlds.
It is unfortunate that our conservative friends put the wealthy on some sort of pedestal automatically never questioning how they obtain their wealth, etc.
Personally, I believe America is ripe for someone from a lower caste background they can relate to."
And you really think Obama is that man? He's from a "lower caste background"? No, he doesn't have as much wealth as Romney, but he's worth well over a million and so he isn't the "comman man" Savior your hoping for either.
Did you ever think that maybe Mitt decided to run because he believed that he could better serve our nation as President than just 1 of 50 states as Governor?
Your logic of "Mitt did better than the guy who replaced him therefore I hate Mitt" is selfish and therefore idiotic.
You also said "He ran one of the worst presidential campaigns in history and he's being considered for VP?"
Worst campaign in history? Yet he made it to the GOP's final 4, outlasting such notables and heavyweights like Rudy Guliani, and you deem his campaign "one of the worst in history".
Brilliant.
If you want to be taking seriously on these boards, start using maturity and reality as your foundations.
Romney is the guy who bought your company and sent the jobs overseas...no joke! Please look up Bain capital (his company)....BIG STUFF.
He even tried to partner with the chinese to buy out maytag! Guess where those jobs were going?
His health care revolution here in Ma (I live here) pays FULL health insurance for folks who own 1/2 million dollar houses and multiple cars (no means test!).....and is already going broke! But it does give money to health care and drug companies that HIS COMPANY owns!
It really amazes me that folks vote for a corporation dressed up as a human......this guy stands for NOTHING except enriching himself by destroying YOU.
"Get lost Obama, Dean, Clinton, and the entire lot of ya! You are useless! You contribute nothing to our great nation, freedom, democracy, or life! Hit the road!"
Not true, Lee. Their sleazy conduct serves as a bad example of what we don't want for leaders in this country.
As for Romney, yeah, I'll go for him, or even Duncan Hunter, or Jeff Sessions.
Also, it's interesting that when Romney shifts positions it's 'intellectual dishonesty.' When Bill Clinton does it, it's 'triangulation'.
Can anybody change their mind on anything these days? Will Mitt be a "flip-flopper" if one day he decides he does not like to eat PB&J anymore and chooses only to eat PB????
One of the women said she was in the beauty shop and looked out and they were coming down the road marching. She went outside and there was then Governor Romney and MLK holding hands. She said alot of people went and joined in and they marched along. I thought it sounded pretty cool. People still keep wanting to make Mitt out as a liar though for some reason.
oh well, suffice it to say, this gay man is a ROMNEY fan (WOW!!!! someone who has actually DONE something!!!! amazing!!!!), and think barney f. is unworthy of even appearing in the same paragraph.
this go around, i guess i'll vote for the democrat -- mccain -- if he'll at least make the right pick for v.p.
surely, the thought of the marxist party winning seems unappealling, but someone other than romney, hutchison or palin as running mate, and i'll vote bob barr . . . in protest.
The difference between Mitt and Obama is that we know he is a successful business man and has a voting record that is public record.
You show me a person who refuses to look objectively at important issues, weight the facts and make an intelligent decision based on those facts and I will show you a Democrate!!
Mitt has forgot more about the economy than Obama could ever began to know. He's the perfect balancing act to McCain.
God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!
No one has flip flopped more than Obama on issues. I have no idea where he really stands on anything now...one position for the Democratic Primary and another position for the General election.
Romney has actually done something!! What has Obama done?? Still waiting for him to fill in the details.
I don't judge you by the candidates running for office from your party, I would consider that highly rude of me.

Romney was my first choice in the primaries. I'd love to see him on the McCain ticket.
